PARTICULIARLY muslim phenomenon. Even Muhammad got his start raiding Caravans of the non believers.

But one cannot get around what Jefferson heard when he went with John Adams to wait upon Tripoli’s ambassador to London in March 1785. When
they inquired by what right the Barbary states preyed upon American shipping, enslaving both crews and passengers, America’s two foremost envoys were informed that “it was written in the Koran, that all Nations who should not have acknowledged their authority were sinners, that it was their right and duty to make war upon whoever they could find and to make Slaves of all they could take as prisoners, and that every Mussulman who should be slain in battle was sure to go to Paradise.”

If you could phrase an intelligent question that I knew the answer to, I would be happy to oblige.

Lets try the question I already asked:

What is her estimation of the ISIS troop levels?

I cannot speak for her, having never met her personally.

Before attempting to calculate that number, first a proper and accurate definition of ISIS would be needed. I am unable to do that. I agree with her that we've been supporting ISIS, whatever on earth that actually is, for a number of years. Her commenting on it was not the first I ever heard. Veterans Today and other specialty alternative media outlets have been writing about it for years.

For me, the first hint that ISIS was rather a creation of western propagandists came when they were shown driving new Toyotas and wearing new tennis shoes, as though it was a photo op of sorts. Then when the plumber from Houston or somewhere in Texas saw his own truck (which he had recently sold) being driven in one of those apparent photo ops, the cat was out of the bag, at least for me.

Ok. We were talking about the troop levels, and you said you believe Gabbard, as opposed to the DoD, but now it turns out Gabbard has not said anything about the ISIS troop levels.

So, a plumber from Texas saw a pick up truck the same make, model and color as his, and that means US government is helping ISIS......All righty then...

????? So a guy sells his truck to Auto Nation, who sells it an auction to a buyer that shipped the Truck to Turkey, and then it ends up in ISIS hands, and for you this is evidence that ISIS is a creation of western propagandists? Not following the logic?

There is no logic, just "alternative facts" (a whole alternative universe as far as I can tell).

I know exactly what they are saying at the Pentagon, i.e., we have to keep our heads until this peace craze blows over.

News flash, Iraq still is not part of Syria. Trump pulling troops out of Syria has nothing to do with Iraq. Just another liar trying to make Trump look bad by inflating numbers. Sad.

No one said Syria is part of Iraq or vice versa. You need to work on your comprehension skills.

Iraq will hold a vote on kicking US out of Iraq. We told them ISIS is gone, so they have no more use for us. I wonder if Trump will have to tell them the truth, that there are still 30 000 fighters in the Syria/Iraq area. He might have to confess in order to retain presence in Iraq after we surrender Syria.

Take a clue. ISIS has been neutered. The Iraq military has been trained and equipped. These countries know that keeping the US in their countries stirs up the rabble and brings in foreign fighters. Trump already told this dipwad that the US in no longer in the "Nation Building" business. To be blunt, he can no longer skim off his share of the "Nation Building" loot, so why have the liability of keeping US troops in his country to battle a measly hand full of ISIS.

Were you under the impression we were in Syria to build nations?

    30 000 is a tad more than a handful.

I'd like some source on those 30k ISIS terrorists, suspect the estimate exaggerated.

Shouldn't be too hard to confirm the numbers they used in the article. Did the DOD say ISIS had 30-40k fighters at one point which was reduced to 1,000 after the Trump offensives? If the 1,000 figure is accurate for 2017 then with the collapse of the land under their control it seems to be highly unlikely they could replace all those loses and be back up to their original 30k strength. Trump is most likely pacifying the crybabies by stretching out the withdrawal. Or, perhaps they are there to help the French get up to speed as they arrive.

Was it DoD, or Donald Trumps press secretary?

Well he has his facts right. Guy here in Texas sees his business logo on his truck in Syria with ISIS. He is suing Auto Nation for like a million bucks I believe over the incident. He tried to remove the company stickers but Auto Nation insisted that he not do so to avoid damaging the paint and assured him that they would do so. BUT even accepting all these facts as true, Im not seeing the evidence that indicates ISIS is a creation of Western Propaganda. Cant even imagine why the facts to him seem to be such evidence.

No, the man's pickup still had his company sign painted on the truck. It was HIS actual truck, mysteriously acquired by ISIS, all the way from Texas.

Clues for the observant and curious amongst us, consistent with the gist of Gabbard's statement.

Auto Nation bought his truck, sold it at auction to someone who exported it to Turkey and then it ends up with ISIS. How is this evidence that ISIS is a creation of western propaganda?

It's not evidence that ISIS is a creation of western propaganda.

It is evidence only that they get their trucks from the US. It's perfect for the photos ops too.

Is there a law saying used cars cannot be sold overseas? Or are you jumping into concluding US government bought the used car off the lot, and sent it to ISIS. That sounds like something straight out of the pages of Breitbart. LOL

I'm not saying the plumber's truck didn't end up in ISIS' hands, what I find ridiculous is the idea somehow the US government delivered it.

Now I see your problem. You can't read and have a terrible time with facts. You are the only one mentioning Syria and nation building. Just trying to fog up the conversation so you don't look so stupid? That won't work. Next, the 30K number is high end of the numbers being thrown around. However, 30K in a region with a population of 60 mill is nothing. They are hiding in small pockets, with Kurds, Israelis, Russians, Iranians, and Assad hunting them.

Your irrational fear is disturbing. It is probably due to never having any military experience. If you have any kids, you need to insist they join the marines and take action to protect you. Or you could just get a new tinfoil hat.

Actually, you whined about "nation building".

Keep you personal bull-crap to yourself. Such language is a tool of a weak person.
