True. In the past two days he's had to

(1) face his own mortality (which is difficult for most people), and
(2) go to the hospital and have people speculate if he is strong enough (or can be) to run the country for another four years.

It HAS to be difficult to someone whose whole public persona is smoke and mirrors.

 

You only know what the TV tells you, you dont know all the facts here, but you speak as though you do....talk about spin...

 

No denying, this whole pandemic has had me contemplating my own mortality too, and I haven't even been infected, but I know I am at high risk.

And if this were any other presidency, he would be toast for re-election, but we are living in weird times. So I fear, in spite of the overwhelming evidence, that there are still going to be Trump supporters who think he can still lead the country regardless of all his failures, including this one.

If he was tested within 24 hours of the debate, then how is it possible he came down so quickly once we knew Hicks was positive?

It only leads to two conclusions:

1. The test was not accurate, which the faster test has been proven to be, OR
2. He was not tested as the WH claims

That's it. Nothing more, nothing less.

Is it possible for you to respond without your little personal insults? I wont allow you to bait me. He may have been tested at midnight before the debate and midnight after the debate, for all you know. Obviously he would be negative on the test before the one that was positive.

 

Or,

3. He was tested and assumed he was negative because all previous tests had been negative. He also could have assumed that he was fine because he felt okay and, at that point, nobody in his inner circle had positive tests.

Let's disassemble this. First, nobody asked him to lock himself in a room. Just act responsibly.

"Confront the virus," suggests he took reckless, unnecessary risks on purpose not knowing, given his age and obesity, whether he would survive COVID. The reality is he was reckless, took unnecessary risks, exposed others to those risks, and contracted a deadly virus possibly creating the chaos that ensues when a prez dies in office.

He had a choice, he could have worn a mask and insisted those around him do the same.

Again no one ever suggested that he "Lock yourself in. Don’t ever leave. Don’t even go to the Oval Office. Just stay upstairs and enjoy it. Don’t see people. Don’t talk to people. And just be done with it.” No one.


So what's going on here? As always, he's establishing a false narrative with false choices in order to distract from his abject stupidity and get the minions talking about how tough he is instead of how stupid he is.
