Donald Trump's video chat from the hospital demonstrated that he is severely ill

It was totally abnormal.

No slander; No insults; No bullying; No shouting; No blaming Democrats for his condition; I wish I could say no lies but that would be a lie.

Trump's behavior is totally out of character and it demonstrates how sick he is.

For the first time ever, I felt like I was watching a real human being speak openly and honestly. Maybe being diagnosed has helped him realize what so many people have been going through even a little bit. Only time will tell if it's made a real impact. I hope so.

 

It was one of his better speeches. He even called it the Coronavirus and not the China Virus. Maybe this is a life altering experience for him.

The empathy he's feeling right now is only for himself.

The only thing he's thinking of at the moment, apart from his recovery, is to resume his rallies with fans without masks and who don't respect any social distancing.

 

That may be true. I'm thinking he at least has some kind of pause because he has a minor son whose mother is also sick. Only time will tell if any of that matters when he returns.

From now on, Trump should only speak in public through these (obviously) scripted and rehearsed sound bites..

It's not a rally, it's not a press conference, it's not a video filmed in response to an attack on him. The fact that some people are so perplexed by his nature in this video shows that their TDS exceeds their ability to contextualize. Don't get me wrong though, he's going to make hay while the sun shines, he'll use this situation to his advantage... for the purpose of being the president you didn't know you needed for another four years.
