Former deputy PM Yehia Al Gamal :

"Gamal said presidential candidate Abdel Moneim Abouel Fotouh is the “nearest to Egyptians’ hearts.”

“He is a Muslim who believes in the civilian state, and this makes him the most qualified for the post,” Gamal said.

Gamal warned against fragmenting votes between Abouel Fotouh and the Muslim Brotherhood’s nominee, Mohamed Morsy, saying this would lead to another candidate winning, such as Amr Moussa. He said he expects Moussa to continue to runoff elections against Abouel Fotouh and Morsy.

Gamal said the Brotherhood “had lost ground among the people. The honeymoon between it, the military council and people is over because of its wish to control everything.”
    "

wise words and correct estimation Mr Al Gamal

Well Abu Ismail the Salafist Lawyer is still denying his mothers citizenship even though we have all seen the documents. :bored:
His army of worshippers are in the square and outside the Commission causing trouble.
His army are calling the USA liars and have fabricated the documents.
His Saudi financed channels are going crazy now in the villages on the peasants to take action.
People are calling for investigation into the foreign funding from the gulf now as his campaign was huge and cost millions and is against the rules.

Tomorrow Egypt is now expecting clashes.
Tomorrow was what was supposed to be the liberal and leftist parties protest in Tahrir against the ex regime orphans like Suleiman and Shafik and Mussa.
The MB have said they will participate.

The Noor Wahabi lunatics for sure will cause problems tomorrow.
They ONLY want Abu Ismail to be the President no matter of he lies or not. The ignorant camel boys and peasants I am thinking will be out tomorrow.

Last week hundreds of thousands of protesters were out in Tahrir. Maybe half a million. Not a single police or army was anywhere around the area. Not one single incident occurred. Not one single fight or conflict. ( I am imagining anything similar in any other country with half a million protesting and not a single cop or soldier to be seen!) I doubt it would have been peaceful but thats what Tahrir and Cairo was last Friday at the protest.

Tomorrow I hope we are wrong and the Abu Ismail worshippers go back home and stay there and not cause trouble. Better still why not pack their bags and move to Riyadh!
Egypt does not need Wahabi lunatics. Better they move to Riyadh or Kabul.

Abu Ismail worshippers are massing now in readiness for tomorrow. Not a good sign.

They have stated they will follow what their leader says.

Maybe he could tell them all to jump off the Semiramis into the Nile!

SCAF has transferred the recent disenfranchisement Law passed in Parliament to the constitutional court. This stops any Mubarak orphans from running for president for 10 years.
    Suleiman is already out.

If it is passed then Shafik will be ousted out of the race and possibly Mussa.

It will be made law in 15 days.

would have cast my vote for the supreme underdog Bothaina Kamel, humanitarian extraordinaire!! I liked her platform and still admire her bravery and pay it forward intellect. The only woman and a democratic advocate withdrew from the presidential race for lack of sigs to continue. As Prez Ms Bothaina Kamel (what a suckie last name for a politician!) would have supported the Minorities who are not represented well. That is or was admirable, kind of like our micro Mountain Manna Mission, PO Box 265 Elizabethton TN 37643 attention Pastor Greg oopsie! but on a exponentially larger scale.

In addition no candidates represents the Christian community at all, despite the fact that 10 percent of the population is Christian! That is truly an indication of something rotten, well already rotted in Denmark of in this instance Kafr el-Dawwar. She was the only woman that was running now there are none.. Figures!,

According to Kamel “women are considered second class citizens, like Coptic Christians and Nubians”. Her ill-fated but daring decision to run even if cut down in its prime is a harbinger of things to come. You should come to the USA Mrs President to be, maybe one of these days, when Sharia law is gone, or better yet eliminated from the face of the earth, when the Hamas supporting Palestinian traitors everywhere get their wings (tarred and feathered on liberally)then and only then the Egyptians and the western nations could embrace in a thousand year peace! Sadly those Palestinian terrorists that support Hamas with a satanic murderous zeal will also ultimately and completely be reduced ash then to ash again then dust to dust to be interred back into the righteous earthy womb of our planet. Hot (*)(*)(*)(*) I am finally done, yes I backed this one up in case it gets deleted ha ha~

40 plus parties are attending the Tahrir today.
There will be many starting points all marching from different locations to Tahrir after Jummah prayers.
Already thousands are in the Square.
The Abu Ismail worshippers have declared him now a prophet!! this is very bad and dangerous. These lunatics have left their sit in and have set up their stage in the square. Their main aim is to get him into the race no matter what but there is no chance of that after his lies about his mother. There is a lot of backsheesh being paid to these lunatics and we all know where that cash is coming from.

This was supposed to be the liberal protest BUT the Islamists have decided they want to come too. This is good if they want unity but bad if they start their nonsense and self promotion.

I predict the trouble if any will be from Holy Church of Abu Ismail . This is because his supporters are calling for blocking off the main artery in Cairo the 6th October Bridge and the State TV at Maspero. This will end in huge fighting with drivers and workers like what happened when the Coptic Christians done the same thing. They should all stay in the Square with no excuses.
There will be no police or army present in Cairo. Let's hope that there are no Mubarak orphans paid again to create trouble and Abu Ismail keeps his worshippers in the square sitting on their hands.

Seems they are busy at the moment causing chaos in South Sudan with their host in their efforts to break Sudan into pieces and grab the oil.

Bad feeling about this but so far it is calm.

The latest is that Lawyers in Alexandria are calling for the arrest of Abu Ismail by the Attorney General. They want him arrested and stopped from travel and charged.

He has been threatening the Electoral Committee and has said that 'his followers will commit suicide for him' and we all know what that means  and they are crazy Wahabi lunatics so everything is possible and I agree that maniac should be arrested and charged and deported to Saudi with his fanatical worshippers!!!!

This is the same Wahabi lunatic, that if you do not know, called Bin Laden a martyr and praised him on TV. :spin:

There is a huge call for investigation into his funding now and support network.

So we figured this one was going to be huge and it is huge.
The Square was packed out BEFORE prayers and Cairo is on the move to Tahrir today and in many other governerates.
Buses are pouring people into Downtown and it's a huge family event.
7 stages all blasting out 'out with the felool' that is Mussa and Shafik and banner with the same.

Protests against SCAF and demanding they hand over power. This part I still do not understand because we are just weeks away now from what they said they would do so why still these chants??
I think mainly this is from MB and Salafists who have no power even though they hold parliament as the deal they had with SCAF was to hold onto Ganzoury government till president. Now their horses are out of the race they are now attacking SCAF who they were dealing with!!!!!

All parties are securing the square as there is no police or army anywhere in the area. Everyone is being searched and ID checked for felool and potential troublemakers and foreigners. Food sellers have set up many many stalls and making a good business selling hot foot and drinks. Luckily it is cold weather at 25/77 degrees so no problem with sun and heat.

This crowd could be bigger than 11th February ouster!!

Few mins ago a couple are getting married on the MB stage in front of the people.

Massive all party protest in Alex

Protests in Upper Egypt towns and in Suez and Ismailia representing all parties.

Tahrir cannot take any more protesters and all the side streets are also now full with more coming to join!! :omg:

Marches are still en route from different locations heading to Tahrir.

Dr Ahmed Harara who was blinded in both eyes entered the square with his helpers calling for the Revolution till Victory and all demands are met.

Some female protesters are taking microphones and asking that the people should unite and take to the streets and go to the people explaining demands and leave Tahrir half full.
Egyptian women are zagreeting with their children in the square. (zagreeting is the Egyptian Pharaonic sound made by women in celebration or mourning) a high sound make from the mouth and tongue to anyone not heard it.

The revolutions famous ladies Gigi Ibrahim and Nawal al Sadawi are leading their womens march round the square.

The Abu Ismail suicide boys are heading to Maspero like they threatened. This is a very bad move!!! they are hoping to confront army now and escalate this peaceful protest because they know the army has to protect Government building like Maspero!!!!
same tactics as the Coptic Christians and we know the result of that stupid move!!!

They truly mean suicide to die for their prophet I guess !!! :fear:

New York Journalist reporting that people are handing out flyers for jobs in the Gulf
I wonder who those can be?

No evidence of any Coptic Christians joining in with everyone and setting up stages to make their voices heard.
20% of the population still probably sitting at home mourning Shenouda passing.

Liberal movements in good spirits and everyone making their demands for unity and revolution demands to be met.

Syrians have a tent up and joining in the festival atmosphere and singing with the Egyptians with the singers and bands on stage

Good atmosphere in the square now that Abu's apostles have left to Maspero. Now they can play the devils music

Tahrir still waiting to welcome the protetsers who have been walking from Suez to the square since Wednesday in protests. They are apparently 15 Kms away from Tahrir.

Amr Hamzawy the liberal PM has called for the MB to withdraw their candidate Morsi and speaking against parties who use the square only part time. This is reference to MB and Salafist.

The Ultras are playing football songs and martyr songs and the Abu Ismails are trying to drown out their devil music with Quran verses.

Large Israeli flag was burned to cheering.

Army have tried to secure Maspero and situation is tense but in the square mood is good.

Rallys in Sohag, Luxor and Qena.

Salafists in North Coast Matrouh refuse to support Abu Ismail and Al Noor party also refuse to support him. This is big blow for saint Hazem and his disciples

Saint Hazem accusing USA of fabricating the mothers citizenship documents.

Too much news to keep up

    Very good day.

Most parties are leaving now and only the Ultras are singing martyr and Port Said disaster songs after the fireworks. Very peaceful mega protest with no incidents reported from what I have heard considering no police presence at all.

    Proud to be Egyptian!

God help our brothers in Bahrain and Syria and Palestine and elsewhere under attack and threat from invaders and dictators and their supporters and allies.

It's a bit hard to tell still but I would think that it would be like this

There are only really 3 and only really 2 to be honest

    1 Fotouh
He is the MB guy who was put out of the party because he went against their rules. He has always been a moderate voice in the MB. Soft spoken and respected. Even if you did not like the MB you liked Fotouh because he was seen a a decent man and not radical. He's also know for humanitarian work and him and his wife are both doctors in hospitals. He was big advocate for health and suffered under Mubarak for wanting to change to better health for the poor.

    2 Amr Mussa
You know him well. I put him 2nd because he is appealing to the non Islamists who are terrified now by the Salafists. Not because they like him but as an opposition. He is very two faced and not trustable and is famous here for saying he would support Mubaraks in the last elections, the rigged one. He lost any credibility. He is a man of two faces BUT because of the Saudi influence so strong now he is being seen as a bet for the poorer class who dont want another Riyadh set up in Egypt.

    3 Morsi

he was the back up horse when they knew Shatr would be excluded which he was. Morsi is seen a a supreme kind of guide in the MB. Very quiet and no one knows much about him really. Shatr was chosen as a first candidate because he has huge wealth and was hoped by the MB to counter the funding pouring in from the Gulf and Saudi to Abu Ismail. Morsi now is their hope BUT the country has been shocked by the rise of the Salafist Abu Ismail and it's campaign from the Saudis so the people now are wary of Islamists like the raqdical Wahabi type because recently of two scandal of the nose job one and the Ismail mother US citizen one also because they are radical Bin Laden types and want Egypt like Saudi. Morsi I feel will not do well.

I predict the run off will be between Fotouh and Mussa.

I am voting Fotouh because I do not trust Mussa at all.

Fotouh has the support of prominent women and Coptic Christians and known figures. He is respected.

He will make an excellent president that will counter balance the radicals.

The current Parliament will not survive long. Next year if not before there will be another elction where the parliament will be more representative. It was good that the MB and Salafists took control and I am glad that happened. I wanted them to be given the chance to show their worth and faces. Now we have seen the faces and worth. If we can manage to stop the Saudi funded fanatics which are totally against our style and culture as Egyptians Egypt will be saved and we need all the help we can to rid ourselves of these fanatics but it is hard to fight oil billions and other countries agendas. The Saudis want and are determined to have Wahabi here because of one thing. To secure their own thrones. Wahabi do not fight the ruler. If they take control then it will be run like Saudi. No one gets to say except the ruler and his family. To keep Saudi royals in thrones they need to either keep Egypt weak or install Wahabi like Abu Ismail.

Egypt is struggling at the moment against Wahabi oil funded Saudi who are fearing the revolution heading their way. Abu Ismail is not giving up and will continue as long as Saudi riyals keep flowing in and Saudi channels keep playing in peasant villages.

the only other one is Ahmed Shafik

    4 Ahmed Shafik
Only a fool would vote for him.
He is felool and NDP man and Mubarak orphan.
Egypt does not need this man who Mubarak at his fall made him Prime minister. Egyptians are not so dumb as to vote Shafik!
