• "sexual orientation" as homosexuality, heterosexuality, or bisexuality; and
• "gender identity" as gender-related identity, appearance, mannerisms, or characteristics, regardless of the individual's designated sex at birth.

If people didn't discriminate because people don't like people who are not like them, there'd be no reason for this bill or even the civil rights act it amends.
But sadly, there are too many bigots that like to demean people because of some difference in them. Even though they are fine upstanding people themselves.

The point is that it is behavior. It is not race creed or color. The government has the right to restrict in any fashion it chooses any behavior it wishes. Pretending the behavior merits the same protection as race or color is absurd.
