Executive Order: 'Excessively High Temperatures' 'Already' Harming Public Health AKA.... Cronyism I'm sure Al Gore is included in there somewhere.
Obama fixed it, he fixed global warming, can't you see? Let's give credit where credit is due: Okay so he did a better job in Canada, but so what?
Do some research and see how the Energy Department is strangling coal mines. And please say you know who selected the Energy Department Secretary.
Looks like Obama just did! The average temperature is 17.6 degrees! All hail Our Glorious Messiah, Lord Obama the First, who with but a wave of his mighty hand ended Global Warming forever!
Climate change is causing all kinds of chaotic weather. I remember a snow storm in N. Dakota not long ago that was devastating. Ice is melting wordwide, especially a the poles. Sea levels are rising faster, especially over the last century Rainfall has increased worldwide I wonder how many Big Oil lovers will keep pretending that pollution is good.
I've said it before but I really don't care if global warming is real or not but I'm having hard time taking it seriously when you have people like Al Gore who are major proponents of regulations and taxations for GW while they're stilling living the life style that they are.
I believe Al Bore's ego is far to big to be allowed anywhere close to Obama's circles. The super duper ego of Obama is far too much for a mortal man.
Sea ice melting does not affect sea levels. Land ice melt in antarctic and Greenland is estimated by models to raise sea levels .19 mm per year. Haven't heard anyone claiming pollution is good. Increased rainfal will benefit some area, hurt others.
Exactly and here's what I find funny as well... "What's more, climate control "requires" action "by the Federal Government" It's interesting that it is stated, as a matter of course, that the climate can be controlled however, there is no reference to how that is to be accomplished. I guess it's up to the 'government officials' to exact more $$$$ from the beleaguered and broke taxpayers to erect useless programs that will be forever needy for even more tax payer revenue.
Here in London and the south east of the UK it hasn't stopped raining for about a week. I'm over 50 and I've never seen so much rain in London over such a short time-frame. Continuous rain is predicted into next week too. Alongside the rain we've had high winds up to 80 miles an hour, the widespread bursting of river banks, damage caused by storms and high tides and unprecedented amounts of flooding of properties and businesses throughout many UK communities.
Seriously, while not totally unprecedented, I've never experienced so much extreme weather conditions as I have over the last decade or so.
Saw some guys debating "global warming" on the TV a few days ago. One of them said, "If 10 doctors say your kid is sick, are you going to listen to the one who says he's well? We have a duty to protect the world from global warming." What he means is that we should listen to the bribed or terrorized "doctors" and ignore the one telling the truth, because we have a duty to pay more for everything so that the super-rich can get richer.
Thanks for that... The Earth may be warming and may have been for thousands of years but claiming human beings have significant impact or, have the ability to do anything about it has, as yet, not been proven and, even if it was, who controls the amount of CO2 that is to be taxed? If, as climate change proponents believe, we really have an impact on the climate, then a high tax on CO2 could result in a much deadlier Ice Age, thinner atmosphere resulting in possibly more deleterious radiation from the Sun, receding plant life, etc. Climate science has experienced 'mission creep' as it has gone from research to prognostication for profit.
