    That's part of the uproar.

    The investigation was lackluster at best and took the word of the murderer as the primary fact.

    There are two important dynamics working to make this story a national media frenzy at this point:

    1) A man hunted down and killed an unarmed teenager who was walking home after getting snacks.

    2) The man that murdered this teenager is still free after a month.

    3) "Stand Your Ground" laws are nothing more than a license to murder anyone that you feel is a threat regardless of if the threat is real or not.

    The uproar that this has created is only going to get louder as more people become familiar with the events of this unfortunate ablation of justice.

    I am very sorry that the boy died. I am not sorry that the Lib story of White Jewish Dude kills black teenage fell apart when it turns out that Zimmerman is neither white of jewish. For once, we whites are sitting on the sidelines watching the action. Mayor Nutter of Philadelphia warmed black youth about those hoodies.

    fact is, Jeb Bush signed the legalization of murder act into law and should be charged with being an accessory to murder, and so should all the lawmakers that voted for it.

    What does the particular nutters' label put upon the racist murderer (unless the Martians did it, of course) conceivably matter? Mad gun laws and bullying buggers with a licence to kill don't go well together with human rights, do they?

    I think it is about the negative connations of hoodies like the ones the theives always wear when they are beating up the store clerks and robbing 7-11s.

    Well, if folk consider one minority killing another minority racist, it might be so. Who is practicing Racism on Who? The Black Mayor Nutter made his comments about black youth in his city and the negative connotations of the hoodie, which has a prominant place in the video of store being robbed or folk beat up. At least we whites are sitting on the sidelines watching the action this time around. While George's mother is a Latino immigrant, the Jewish sounding name of Zimmerman had the Libs all hopped up for awile. Think the father is German extraction.

    Apparently, some think that "Stand Your Ground" means "Chase an Unarmed Teenager Down and Shoot Him Even Though He Isn't Presenting Anything That Even Remotely Resembles A Credible Threat."

    This is exactly what was predicted when this abomination of a law was enacted.

    You live in an atmosphere of racism, obviously. An unarmed boy has been murdered, and his known killer is still at large to murder other people. I don't care what 'colour' you consider yourself to be, but the way you talk suggests you support racist murder - in which case you should be in jail, I think, as an accessory in this shameless business.

    Come off it! It is in your country that lynching-by-media happens. Nobody doubts the fatman killed the boy, who perhaps threatened him with some food. The only question is whether your gunmerchants have fixed the law so far that such an ******** can kill just when he feels like it. Even amongst madmen the killer should have been put in jail for the trial, asd you know.

    Ah so this is another chance for you to rant about guns. Good to know you are here to troll and not discuss the actual topic.

    Zimmerman killed him no one is debating that. The debate is murder or self defense. And the fact that Martins own father said it wasnt his son on the 911 call should tell you WE DONT KNOW ALL THE FACTS YET.
