On its face, it should not be trusted. Depending on its content, an investigation is required to determine the veracity of its conclusions. Would you not agree?

When he fired Comey....it was NEVER about HIM until then. It was ALWAYS about Russians meddling in our election, and why did they do it in support of Trump

Firing Comey was not a secret handshake signal to start investigating the hoax of collusion. The hoax was already well established.

Anti-American obstructionists only used that as an excuse to start the Special Counsel investigation.

Trump started none of this stuff.

I doubt there is any evidence if you are talking about actual collusion with russia. As that CIA fellow said last month(cannot recall his name) if there were any evidence of collusion, it would have been leaked, at least one shred, given the prolific leaks which were leaked to hurt trump right after he took office. After all, there has been an intentional move to take him down, or you would never have seen these leaks. For these leaks came from within our own gov't, probably from obama people still in it. Hillary supporters.

The trump investigation appears to be politically driven, given a questionable, non verified dossier was supposedly used to get FISA permission to spy on the trump campaign. If the NSA has seen no evidence of collusion, given they have stored all internet communication, text, and phone calls, what should that tell the rational mind? And we were told by Clapper that he had seen none. And you know, they must have scoured for it.

A little bit of rational, logical thought here will serve you very well. And an understanding of the capabilities of this post 1984 National Security State. We seem to forget of those capabilities when it serves our partisan views.

I'd suspect the underlying data is worse than the memo summary. MUCH worse, with many actors going to jail.

Very well said and very rational. Unfortunately, the Resistance is none of those things. We see it here every day.

After 9/11, JFK, etc. All conspiracies I believe were perpetrated at the highest levels of our government. After decades of being called a crackpot by rightists.

    Is it my turn?

Or is this one real and all the others fake?

Yes, sad isn't it? You know, my own opinion on this collusion deal came when Clapper told us what he did and more than once. He was not a trump fan, quite the contrary. You can bet your arse if evidence from the NSA existed or the CIA, or the FBI, given what we now know of these agencies, a leak would have come. You know it, I know it, but trump haters would rather live in denial in hopes Mueller can find what the NSA could not find. Mueller will just entrap people for lying to the feds, and then criminal activities like Manafort indulged in. But no collusion with russia to take hillary down. The only thing I fear is that trump's son or son in law were involved in criminal activities which will be used by Mueller to force trump out of office. With an offer he cannot refuse. Like, step down or you son goes to federal prison for 20 years, and will get to meet anal rapers who do it for the kicks. And they love rich white boys. Sorry, but I do not trust Mueller any farther than I can throw him, given he had to know this was politically driven, and without the dossier there would be no special investigation. Being good friends with a fired Comey sure doesn't make Mueller an objective person either. This entire deal has a strong smell of bull crap to me. And of political corruption that is even in our 3 letter agencies. But given what the FBI has been guilty of in the past, it should surprise no one.

Not sure about those other two, but this one here is credible. Given it involves politics, for we have seen other political conspiracies, like watergate. But will we ever be shown any evidence of such a political driven conspiracy? I doubt it. I think our gov't may very well cover its own arse, when something is big like this potentially could be. Done with the rationale of not creating a constitutional crisis, and creating widespread disorder among the non democrats. Holder, remember, would not prosecute those big bankers who laundered billions in drug cartel money. He said it would be too risky to world economies to do it. So, we fined them, and the gov't dipped their beaks into the profits, and got their share. Sounds like a principle a crime syndicate would employ. Or better, the workings of a banana republic. Perhaps a Corporate State, but not a rule of law constitutional republic. Well, Rome lost its republic too, and only the forms were left. This is caused by human nature itself, IMO. Which is why history tends to repeat or at least rhyme. Power corrupts. A fact. The truth. And it always does so unless you have an alert and vigilant citizenry with access to journalism which sticks to standards. And we lack both.

I never said their was evidence of collusion. Their is evidence that is leading somewhere or the investigation would have concluded. Thats all I said.

The leaks are happening on both sides. Their both trying to have this decided in the court of public opinion. Plain and simple. BOTH SIDES.

But where I draw the line is when they stop discussing the investigation, and then attack those investigating. If you cant refute the evidence, then you try to discredit those who gathered the evidence.

Let the investigation play out. WHY is that so hard ? The right has now convinced their base that no matter what is found, its wrong because the FBI, DOJ, and EVERYONE else is against them.

This "deep-state" montea is beyond ridiculous.

Just remember, when you claim that the FBI/DOJ investigators have a bis because they voted for Clinton, you must apply that same standard to those who voted for Trump. They MUST be tainting the case in his favor. You set the standard for one, it MUST be used for the other

Are you saying you think 9/11 was done by our government? I think there are plenty of JFK conspiracies that are plausible. There are so many to choose from there though :p

I agree, the investigation should run to its conclusion. Mueller will catch some more for lying to the feds, and perhaps other criminality that is not related to the election. But collusion? No. I understand the power of our National Security State. And if they had the goods, trump would already have been in deep trouble months ago. This investigation is nothing but a politically driven fishing expedition. I would bet money on it. When was the last time such an investigation actually find evidence supporting the reason it was created in the first place? They turn into fishing expeditions, which doesn't look like the rest of our justice system at all. So, always politically driven. At least in more recent history. It is an abuse of the system, IMO.

As much as I dislike the Clintons, that's what happened to Slick with Starr. But this evidence of a soft coup to derail Trump by our alphabet soup agencies must be investigated, not swept under the carpet. That is FAR worse than the idea that Trump tried to protect Flynn from prosecution. Obama did that same thing how many times?

Becausethis isn't the Soviet Union. We have the rule of law here. We don't open investigations on people or groups looking for a crime.

'Give me a name and I'll find you a crime' is police state.

There is no cause for this investigation and it needs to shut down immediately.

You're right; this is scary stuff. But after seeing the IRS weaponized to destroy conservative groups, are we shocked to see the FBI protect a Democratic nominee from prosecution and target the Republican nominee? No. Nothing is surprising at this point.

Libs will do anything to seize and maintain political power.

It's important to remember step #1, the faithless electors.

The left, not just a few in power but the entire left, adopted the idea that it was the duty of an enlightened few to overrule the will of the people when the people got it wrong. Once you adopt this mode if thinking the secret society makes much more sense.

VIPS called this a soft coup real early on, and to them, retired intel men, it looked too much like one to ignore it. They should know, right? I am sure some of these men even partiscipated in other coups, on foreign leaders, via the CIA. So, they know what they look like and the tactics used.

Yes, it happened to the clintons too, no doubt, with Starr. And I dislike them too, but only because of what Bill did in changing our trade from what our Founders put into place. The death knell eventually for our large middle class.

I figure it will be swept under the rug once it is used for political reasons. I would be shocked if this did not happen. I have been watching our gov't closely for a long, long time, and I have a good memory. I do not develop amnesia so easily when it comes to what appears to be the destruction of our republic by politicians and 3 letter agencies and the politicians who allow them to act outside of our constitution I agree with Ron Paul on these 3 letter agencies. Too easy for them to be weaponized against this republic. This isn't coming from the analysts with intel, but the operations sector, politically appointed scumbags and criminal minds..... Partisans.
