But you of course know it is true, as I have repeatedly proven to you over and over and over and over with the actual data.

Forcing banks to give home loans to people who had no way in hell of paying them back had nothing to do with too right?

Sure. Bush's great ownership society was a glaringly stupid thing to implement. Republicans then killed every single attempt to try and correct it from 2001-2007, which led directly to the crash.

The Dems are the primery cause, are there other reasons yes, but at the end of the day, it was home loans that broke the back.
    Dood and Frank sound familiar?

Sure. They didn't kill every attempt to regulate fanny/freddy from 2001-2007, like republicans did though. Which is what led to the crash.

The regs had very little anything do with it. What is the main cause, the houseing marget, what caused that? The home loans. So at the end of the day, its on the dems feet when they quzi forced banks to give up home loans.

Nope. It's entirely republicans fault. they killed every single attempt to try and regulate the situation from 2001-2007. Sorry.

Obama was "in power", but I don't think it is really accurate to give him credit for the decline in food stamp participation. In fact it is more accurate to say the decline in food stamp usage was in spite of Obama and not because of him.

Obama was notorious as the "food stamp President". He pushed to expand food stamps enrollment ---- he ran advertisements to encourage people to sign up for food stamps, and gutted the work requirements for food stamps. It wasn't until Republicans began raising hell about the cost that things came to a head in 2013 thanks to the Republican majority in the House. While Republicans were pushing for cuts to food stamps in the Farm Bill, Obama was consistently in opposition. One really could argue food stamps usage went down during Obama's presidency in spite of Obama and not because of him. Trying to credit Obama indicates an ignorance of the history of the food stamp program. (I don't mean you, @EMTdaniel86, I just used your post as a jumping off point to start my own.)

    Sadly true.

Its almost like sluggish "recoveries", widespread food stamp use, class resentment, and fake news benefit the Democrat party.
