Fox News and CNN Decline to Air Donald Trump's First Official Speech in Three Months

Trump gave another one of his "cry, whine, spin, twist, rand & rave" speeches, but it looks like the media is no longer carrying his water. And then again, why would they help a guy who makes a hobby out of accusing them of being the "enemy of the state".

Fox News and CNN did not air former President Donald Trump's address at the North Carolina GOP State Convention on Saturday night. MSNBC did broadcast segments of Trump's address, reportedly with correspondent Ali Vitali speaking over the ex-presidents remarks.

 

Oh so MSNBC aired out of context snippets and talked over them while adding their own commentary how surprising not much different than when he was in office to begin with and for anyone that says oh Fox News this Fox News that well there you go evidently they got no love for Trump

 

You think they should have aired it as an expression of love? They are a business, and will do whatever they calculate makes good business sense for them.

Apparently his speech was exactly like all his other speeches: Blame, blame, blame & play the victim. Apparently the rapid rise in crime in 2020 was all Biden's fault, while the evil media and Democrats wanted to hurt him.

 

So where did you see his entire speech at? Oh that's rights probably the butchered version MSNBC presented you with...

Is that something that is typically done? I can't immediately recall any former POTUS making random speeches unrelated to campaigning for candidates within their own party. I'm wondering if this is a slight (specific to him and his message) or just not usual protocol.

 

Past presidents speeches aren't aired.

I'm not a big fan of past(Very recently) presidents giving speeches bashing their successor and bitching and whining. Obama went low class by bashing Trump and Trump should not do the same thing.

Trump blew it on Jan 6. Trump invited his supporters to DC, urged his supporters to protest at the Capitol, then totally abandoned them.

I did manage to see this speech at the GOP yesterday to see if he managed to change his style.
Nope he has not changed that.
Biden has not either.
I would love to vote for Trump again.

The media painted a huge bulls eye on Trump prior to Trump being sworn in.
If the media did to you as they did to Trump you too would call the media your enemy.

Trump got painted as our enemy by the press when it carried the bullshit from Obama on January 6, 2017 to all of us. Every outlet claimed Trump was Russia's stooge. This of course never was true.

I am apparently much older than you are. I once also was a republican hating Democrat. My god, as a Democrat that hated republicans, I could be a pain in the ass to those republicans I talked to. I used to down play Reagan up until Carter was president. I actually believed the Bullshit put out by Carter. When he was president I wanted him to go back to farming peanuts and working on houses for the poor class. Those were things he did pretty well.

The press lied about Trump from prior to him being sworn in.

Obama targeted Trump and Biden was in on it along with the media.
Obama pretended Trump was working with the Russians.
Americans have no decent reason to hate Russians of today but by god they hate the Russians anyhow.

 

Trump delivered a welcome speech on Saturday to the GOP. That man can get cheers like few other presidents could get.
