    Nope- that is just a comment made by the Daily Mail Reporter- who got all of their information from an article from the Star Advertiser

    Here is the Star Advertiser interview that the Daily Mail refers to- the one they quote as a matter of fact.

    Q: You stirred up quite a controversy with your comments regarding birthers and your plans to release more information regarding President Barack Obama's birth certificate. How is that coming?

    A: I got a letter from someone the other day who was genuinely concerned about it; it is not all just political agenda. They were talking on Olelo last night about this; it has a political implication for 2012 that we simply cannot have.

    (Abercrombie said there is a recording of the birth in the State Archives and he wants to use that.)

    It was actually written I am told, this is what our investigation is showing, it actually exists in the archives, written down ...

    ...What I can do, and all I have ever said, is that I am going to see to it as governor that I can verify to anyone who is honest about it that this is the case.

    The reason that you can't find a quote by Abercrombie saying what you so desperately want him to be saying is because he never said it. Where Daily Mail came up with it we don't know- but it didn't come from the interview with Abercrombie.

    Frank Davis certainly was an influence to Barack Obama. Barack told us that.

    Not as big of an influence as his mother or grandparents. So what?

    Of course you proved the point- to yourself. To rational people- not so much.

    Governor Abercrombie never said- or implied that Obama's records couldn't be found.
    Governor Abercrombie however did say: a) that he knew that Obama was born in Hawaii because he was in Hawaii and knew Obama's parents when Obama was born and b) Governor Abercrombie officially declared that Obama was born in Hawaii because Hawaii's Director of Health confirmed it.

    Like all conspiracy theorists, you are grasping at straws and believe them to be gold.

    At every step of the way, Hawaii has declared that Barack Obama was born in Hawaii. You just will never accept that regardless of the proof.

    No the article never says he said that. And as I showed you, the article that your article was based on, doesn't 'imply' any such thing.

    This the best you can come up with? An article which has an obscure reference to an implication, which the original source doesn't have?
