As for drugs, the vast majority of drugs entering the US from Mexico come through the ports of entry.

Harshly treating asylum seekers is NOT a solution to reducing drug shipments.

If you want to find a "conservative" solution to drugs, you need to actually do THAT.

 

"Asylum seekers" need to be deterred from making the trek. And those that persist should be instantly rejected. Only those that go through normal points of entry should be honored. All we are doing is incentivizing and endangering further mass migrations across none border crossing points. Which we can't handle.

You cannot simply allow just anyone decide "I think I wanna move to America and I'm gonna cross illegally because **** their processes." We have specific border crossing points. There is a reason why they are trying to bypass those points. And I simply adore that southern states who are being asked to simply "deal with the large influx of people daily" are now bussing them to progressive/blue states to deal with.
