No, of course not. The US congress ratified our country to abide by the treaty. In the case of the other two, if the foreign government ratifies it but the US congress does not, then the US is not forced to abide by the terms of the agreement and can withdraw at any time.

I agree, but it's worth noting that the Germans are not even close to the worst offenders on gun control.

Some of the European nations have surprisingly permissive policy. The Czechs for instance are probably the second best in the world.

It is really the Anglophone nations which are leading the way on gun control, not the Europeans generally. With the notable exception of the US of course.

You're proud that your granddaddy killed? I would be proud of him serving his country, but not for the deaths he caused. I wouldn't want anyone to have that on their conscience.

Are you also proud of the children and innocents that were firebombed in Dresden and other cities in Germany as well as the ones nuked in Japan? Do you really expect their descendants to respect you or the nation you represent?

You obviously dont know your own history. Germany did fight on US soil. Thats why you got your independence from the UK. Prussian officers like Steuben formed your army.

And no, you have Troops here to lead wars in middle east. Your troops have zero to do with german defense. We are one of richest nations in the world and trade more weapons than Israel, UK and China.

As for being bombed into oblivion, what if i tell you only the big cities were affected? In villages nothing was bombed, even medium cities were largly intact. So Berlin or Hamburg in 1945 did look like Detroit in 2019 but were quickly rebuild. In 1955 Germany already surpassed UK and France.

We had a 12 year boom phase.

Having a gargantuan budget surplus is the reason why we tip into recession. Merkel spends no money.

No, when did you pull out of the agreement? Google knows absolutely nothing about such an exit!

... fantasy. For a complete incompetent goverment it is impossible to turn everything generations build up until the 90ies into a shithole state, but they are trying. Angela Merkel is the worst of all Western political leaders, every success we can celebrate here is despite her politics, not one becaufe of her politics. I never thought I would witness a worse chancellor than Gerd Schröder, but I did.

Seriously, I dont understand your Trump hatred. He is the only president since Reagan or even Nixon who fights cultural Marxism on all fronts. We all can see that this ideology does not stop at any borders.I dont know if you notice that in the Free State of Thuringia, but this ideology threatens our whole society. Hostility towards the US is one question, but why always that Trump-bashing?

Which were taken hostage by the british and most were even still children? Why you think that most of them switched sides? The average age of those "hessian troops was 12 to 14 years old. They were children which the british took as slaves and then used as soldiers.

Pay off the other $2.3 trillion that you owe. At 15 billion a year, that will only take 150 years.

Invest in algae-fuel production. Take the lead in bringing alternative fuels to the market.

Again, bullshit. They were professional soldiers, Remember George the 3rd still spoke German also as his father was born in Hanover Germany. As a German you should well know that Hesse-Cassel was even a more Spartan type of military than even the Prussians. All youth were military trained at 14 but you had to have two years of training before before Fredrick the 2nd of Hanover (George III first cousin) released them to serve the British Army for which he profited immensely. Now most of these troops were stationed under command of Britixh, but many carried German colors into battle. Now of course they were drummer boys and such that were as young as 10!

So it's a good thing that Germany doesn't stick to an agreement?

They were not professionals. Germany was not united then. The aristocratic elite did what they wanted with the people at that time. They gave children to the british and as you said yourself, they made money with it. In Germany we use this in history class as prime example about the crimes of the aristocracy. The majority of them hated the british and switched sides to fight their commanders.

We have a saying in Germany. Paper is patient...

USA doesnt stick to agreements, russia doesnt stick to agreements, china doesnt stick to agreements. With all due respect but you expect that we stick to agreements, when nobody else does?

Usually when that happens in the US the money is given back to the taxpayers. See Alaska. Easy fix. Next.
