So where exactly are the Higgs-like particles?

If you have an actual image link, please post it. I'm having a difficult time locating an actual image. Computer generated images are more than plentiful.

No one is going to watch an hour and a half long movie. What is the point of this post?

    I'm invoking Godwin's Law.

Hitler was neither baptized nor confirmed in the Catholic Church. He had long since abandoned his childhood faith. Additionally, his parents were not practicing Catholics. So there would be no legitimate reason to excommunicate him.

    Thank you, Rstones :handshake:

The secret is refuting his Qur'anic translation nonsense with actual Hebrew & Christian scripture; remind him Qur'anic verses were abundantly abrogated; the Qur'an contains over 2,000 errors; reaffirm "Allah" is not the Hebrew & Christian God of scripture; label Mohammed as a false prophet who established a false religion (with proof of course); toss in a few comments from former Muslims turned Christian who actually lived to tell about the lies (taqiyya) Islam teaches, and you have instant ignore.

The better question is what does his comment have to do with "God" particles unless abortionists are now claiming the Higgs-like particles get women pregnant.

Naturally we are all aware by now that Durandal derails & spins religious threads with his militant atheistic views. So it's no surprise threads go off into the abyss. :brainless:

    looool I actually love this!

While I am here wasting my time defending the Bible here with rstones, you - a Christian - and rstones start a conversation to start hating on the Quran together.

That really seems priceless to me actually... What better way to bring atheist and Christian together than by hating on another religion?

Heh, I think you'd better stick to judging what constitutes a True Christian™ and leave atheism to the atheists

As did Mohammad DBUH and Joe Smith, no doubt. I expect Homer was divinely inspired by one or more Greek gods as well...

Nah. I've gotten used to your taqiyya, dodging facts, misinterpretations, 7th century Muslim plagiarism, & rewrites of Hebrew & Christian scripture. So basically I've blown you off.

BTW I thought you had me on ignore. More taqiyya? LOL!

I like to compare your taqiyya to theirs. The similarities are astounding.

Yes, 9 out of 10 atheists prefer Islam.

Muslims, Jews and Christians all believe in the same God, so not really sure it makes a difference to them if it' the Sun God, the Son God or just a God

Christians think that everyone does like they do, which is arbitrarily pick a set of beliefs to cling to. Atheism will always be religion to them until they realize that some people find fault in arbitrarily picking beliefs. They can't comprehend a person who has not either correctly chosen Christianity, or spitefully chosen something other than Christianity just to make God mad.

The only thing aribtrary about that statement is the statement itself. How arrogant does a person have to be to believe that everyone picks their beliefs arbitarily and is thus a moron? Correctly chosen Christianity? While contrasting with Christians? And I suppose Muslims chose Islam just to make God mad? Jews?

There is a point in every persons life where they must accept their faith choice as their own. The idea that adults, gifted with education, expierence, and desire will just plod along blindly their entire lives is silly. Sometime, mom and dad - and their mom and dad, etc. just aren't as stupid as a young teen aged mind thinks.

See I don't even see how it's a choice. I've never chosen a belief in anything. I find choosing beliefs coarse and vulgar, to paraphrase one of my favorite movies.

That's interesting, because when confronted you apparently believe in the same God that I do. Only you apparently 'chose' it, and ... everyone else just kind of fell into it blindly and without choice. Sure you are not an atheist?

No I believe that Yahowah from the Bible was one of a race of technologically advanced aliens who visited earth long ago and perhaps engineered hominid dna to create modern humans.

I believe that because it seems unlikely to me that all the different cultures would come up with the same lie about supernatural beings coming down from the sky. I believe it because of a hunch the difference between humans and other animals seems to be so much more profound than what natural selection can explain alone. I don't know these things, but I believe them because it's the default position in my mind when I consider all the facts at hand. I just believe. I can't choose to unbelieve it. There's no choice involved whatsoever.

I know I accused Christians of arbitrarily choosing their beliefs. Maybe I was being unfair. I based that accusation on the fact that Christians always seem to talk like it is a choice... that some will go to hell for choosing not to believe in God. But I don't think it's a choice.

Edited to add: You seem to have misinterpreted my position. I feel like I must be the only one who did NOT choose his beliefs. Most everyone else seems to claim they chose theirs. In fact, I am the one who blindly falls into my beliefs without choice.

I have no clue how to choose a belief and I don't see how anyone else does it.

Yeah, they pretty much are. That is why 80 percent or better of any given countries population are believers in the prevailing faith. People are, in general, sheep, and follow the path of least resistance. It doesn't matter what faith, just that they are in a comfortable niche shared by the greatest number of people they know.

That's called a cop out. Gee, I was forced to believe this ... is just an excuse to abandon reason and faith.
