Google Fires Republican Engineer Who Spoke Out Abut 'Outrage Mobs'

Are 'outrage mobs' a real thing? Is this a threat to free speech? Or did Google do the right thing?

 

How is it possible that in a country sorta evenly divided along political lines, that only liberals get hired at tech companies? I smell leftist hate, bigotry and discrimination at work yet again.

So where is all that famous liberal tolerance and love affair with diversity?

Google is a private company, meaning free speech doesn't apply. Conservatives need to find or build their own places if they are not going to be welcome in the so-called open market. If liberals are the only ones using the big ticket social media, they will just turn on each other, further fracturing the Democrat party...

Doesn't matter. Even if he were fired for his political views, and so far there is no evidence he was only speculation, political views are not a protected class. At least not on a federal level. Maybe his state has extra protections.

2 yrs ago Google fired someone for doing exactly what they asked their employees to do. And he never even said anything wrong and had it backed up with respected research.

The guy wasn’t a flaming Lib but he wasn’t Conservative either. But he did cite facts that Liberals didn’t like so they canned him for PC purposes.

In regards to who controls media, it may be explained by who has more of a desire to control narratives, and who has the greater desire to engineer society.

Ideally, all perspectives, regardless of how controversial, are given equal treatment on any platform which is open for use or consumption by the general public. Bad ideas, regardless of where they come from are best left out in the open where they can be dismantled for everyone to see. There can be no complaints where the intent is to moderate blatant calls to violence, and libel or slander.

 

The answer is pretty obvious, but you and others might interpret it as an insult to conservatives.

Nothing liberals or anyone else uses to power their equipment, machines, instruments, light up their homes, for transportation could have happened without the genius of Nikola Tesla. He was NOT a liberal and it was no secret that he despised Muslims, didn't trust Jews, and thought the brown man was lazy.
