In your authoritarian mindset, you see rulers who are either worshipped or defied. You have accused me of both.

In our Constitutional Liberal Democracy, we have no rulers. We only have representatives. Now, think about that word. Their job is to REPRESENT us, not themselves. So long as they are obedient to their role, they enjoy our support. When they are not, they don't. This is perfectly proper in a Constitutional Liberal Democracy. As Mufasa chided Simba, "You have forgotten who you are."
