Then again, you've always done rather odd things with our language so perhaps the use of the word alien isn't that surprising. It's such a shame that you guys decided to use our language. Speaking Spanish comes so naturally to most Americans, it would've been mocuh better and The we can be anyone depending on how general you want the joke to be. The we could be english people, british people or, if you wanted to roll it out a bit then the we could be europeans but you'd be stretching it a bit then.
Everyone has their words they like don't they. A lot of british people who live abroad like to call themselves "expats" - Some brits even think that expat is a term about british people when in fact expat means the same thing is migrant but these 2 words have entirely different meanings in the modern world. Expat is short for Ex Patriot, someone that has renounced their former citizenship for another. We = Royal plural ? example: We are Not amused.....
