As people have always been violent, it is rather unreasonable to think that new people arriving in the Americas would suddenly become pacific, especially when the people they met there were at least equally violent. If you have white guilt or something you didn't do that's a psychological issue you need to deal with. I'm not going to admit to anything on the basis of how I'm perceived racially speaking.
