Hamas has launched the largest attack on Israel in many years.

What prompted this attack? I think it has something to do with the possible diplomatic agreement between Saudi Arabia and Israel.

I think it has everything to do with it. Normalizing relations between Saudi Arabia and Israel hurts Hamas and Islamic Jihad's long-term goal of erasing Israel.

All I can say is it's a bad day to be a Hamas terrorist because like myself, Israel believes in revenge.

I'll be waiting to see what AOC, Omar and Tlalib have to say about this.

It's really more about winning...at some point the Israelis will put forth the resources they have to defeat the enemy...and perhaps their enemies have opened up the avenue for that.

Yes, it will be interesting to see if those two stay in their political fox hole or run their mounths. If they run their mouths, other leftists, like AOC might join them. If she does, that might be the way to get rid of her. Some Jewish people need to wake up and learn that some of the leftists they support are anti-Semites under the surface.

I was not aware than anti-Semitism was a part of the MAGA package. Good to know.

You do realize that Trump's son-in-law is Jewish?

So who paid for all those rockets Hamas launched? My guess is this operation was financed using the money Obama, Kerry and Biden gave to Iran.

BDS is a democrat thing and hatred of Jews is a Muslim thing and the left loves them some Muslims.

Hamas never learns. Israel will strike back much, much harder than they got hit. For example, just about a half hour ago, the Israeli Air Force dropped a 20-story building in Palestine with an air strike....

No need to share with me what they say. I don't care at all about anything they say.

Hamas as a specific group has been around not too long, but these feuds have been going on for centuries. Why the attack now, who knows, but my money is on old grudges. It does get tiring watching them continue to fight.

I'm pretty sure anti-semitism is bipartisan

If they launched the attack not understanding the probable consequences they Hamas is stupid. If they launched it knowing the consequences then they are still stupid.

Israel could roll into Gaza and steamroll Hamas any time they want, but the U.N. and bleeding hearts would cry foul...

I remember Trump moving our ambassy to Jerusalem. Don't think an antisemitic would do that.

Not only did they drop the building in a coordinated air strike, they gave the media a heads-up so they could capture it on video. They are not messing around.

And how should Israel respond? This is a repeating pattern.

This is terrible. I checked with colleagues in Jerusalem and TelAviv, luckily, they and their families are okay.

Of course, terrorism like this is never acceptable. However, it is hardly surprising, considering the conditions in the Gaza strip, which is essentially a densly-populated open air prison. Israel, through the blockade, controls what comes in and goes out. There is no autonomy. The Palestinians are like a cornered dog, everyone knows that they often bite.

Unfortunately, with Israel politics moving more and more to the right wing, there is little chance that there will be a serious effort to address the situation. Netanyahu has already indicated that there will be a war-like response. What is that going to fix? How many more times will Israel try the shock and awe approach, only to kill 100s or 1000s of more Palestinians, who will be seen as martyrs in the fight for freedom, and only strengthen the extremists on the Palestinian side?

There absolutely needs to be a two state solution. Unfortunately, the extremists on both sides benefit from the current, unsustainable status quo.

That was for evangelicals, not Jews. Who won the Jewish vote and who always does?

There is only one side that would not accept a two-state solution, and that would be Palestinians. And so, the conflict will continue in perpetuity until Israel grows a pair, ignores the U.N. bleeding hearts, and wipes them out for good. That is the only way this will come to an end....

You are advocating for genocide here? That's surprising, since Israelis were the victims of genocide in the past. Maybe this is like domestic abuse, which tends to be inherited. The Israelis are so focused on never being abused again, that they don't see how they are abusing others.

Israel was attacked, not the other way around. Make sure we keep that in mind. They have every right to completely destroy those who are actively trying to kill them.

What is worse is Israel apparently didn't see it coming. The US does a lot surveillance over there, too. They shot 2500 missiles. They requires a lot of support.
The are taking towns and holding them, which means propositioned supplies and infrastructure, as well as unit maneuvers which went undetected.
    Something is fishy here
They are spend Biden's billions as a good terrorist should.

Israel was attacked by a small minority of terrorists. That doesn't give them the right to wipe Palestine off the earth. In any case, I wonder why the self-proclaimed freedom lovers do not have more sympathy for the Palestinians, who basically live under Israeli occupation. They have no autonomy. I wonder, if the US freedom lovers would take up arms if they were in a similar situation. Heck those freedom lovers even consider taking up arms against their own democratically-elected government, because they feel SOO oppressed.
