I won't criticize anyone for voting for Trump because he was going to drain the swamp or be neither establishment president. Obama went off course; Hillary was a trainwreck, and the best to dems could come up with was a sortasocialist from Brooklyn by way of Vermont 1960s commune. But look what Trump's accomplished TWO tax cuts for corporations. Better than W there. One, soon to be TWO, big biz big govt friendly Justices. SHOW ME THE MONEY says Mitch McConnell Trump's one "defeat" was exactly what the GOP establishment wanted. The Obamacare taxes are gone, but the feds' still shoveling the money to docs and insurers. Laissez le bon temps rouler, go health care stocks. And soon, assuming Mexico's now more left president agrees, and Canada jumps on board we'll have NAFTA2 Meanwhile all those jobs that went to JINA, they're going to Indonesia.
Those are legitimate criticisms but they all seem to have more to do with the GOP Congress than the GOP President.
Read todays news that 39.4% of Americans between the age of 18-64 said they encountered at least one situation in the past year where they suffered material hardship. In a survey of over 7,500 citizens virtually 4 out of 10 said they had trouble paying for housing, utilities, food or health care.24% of those surveyed who had a college education reported they had similar problems.Earnings and buying power HAVE DECLINED in the past 12 months.
Still, Trump is producing strong numbers and in the end that is what people want. Its especially surprising how he is managing to pull in more minority support in spite of the media's attempt to label him a racist. While Trump has not accomplished much legislatively (his big issues) he is certainly moving the nation forward. I expect a whirlwind after the elections this year.
