    They know.
They also know that if they do not distort the truth of your statement, the majority of people will agree with you, and this agreement will be reflected in election law. This will make it harder for people to vote for them illegally, and they don't want that.

Step 1: Make a racist assumption that minorities are too stupid or too poor to get a free ID.

Sometimes The Majority makes unethical decisions. But there is no alternative.

    Sure there is.
When the majority unethically tries to ban guns, for instance , the minority point to the constitution and tells them they can't.

Guns have cost 576,000 lives in USA in 1999-2016.

I was thinking about Slavery -- it was supported by The Majority in 1776 -- 1861.

Aside from the fact this does nothing to negate my point... 2/3 of these people chose to be killed by a gun.

Your whole premise is wrong to begin with. It's built on a straw man and therefore easily collapses because none of it is true. Cite where minority voting is being repressed.

It is embarrassing to see the lengths that republicans go to to limit the turnout. I am with them with the anti illegal immigrants , but hindering the vote is just bad optics. Everyone should be encouraged to vote- democrat or republican.

Who is being hindered? You know your vote for Bernie didn't count right? That's what I call voter suppression.
