Impeachment isn’t an Apple, they can do it every time he breaks the law.

 

Hell no, I want 100% secured borders, the opioid epidemic eradicated, homelessness resolved, institutionalized welfare a thing of the past, childhood obesity to become criminal, the 7 million available jobs in the US to be filled, US Special Forces to assassinate the Iranian regime and all other radical Islamic terrorists, but most of all I really want to see the end results of the Durham criminal investigation. Now thats a Christmas list I believe Santa could fulfill.

 

The House can do whatever the House wants. No limit on the number of impeachments they can produce. We can best show our displeasure at the next election, or not...

 

They rushed everything so Sanders, Warren and Klobuchar can get back on the campaign trail.

I guess you’re one of the very few that don’t diversify and only invest in the company you work for. Employees of US Steel (other than ‘06) haven’t made squat in the last 20 years. Hell, just shorting Uber last year would of made you a 100% return by itself. If you didn’t earn high dividends over the last three years than that’s your fault. Caterpillar, Boeing and even a sketchy industry like construction saw Toll Brothers Homes nearly double over the past 3 years.

Trump asked about a possible crime being committed. Now the left wants to impeach him for asking and wants to elect the guy who committed the crime he was asking about.

 

Interesting that all the uglier tools that government can use against citizens; bills of attainder, double jeopardy, compelled testimony by an accused, warrant less search, assumed guilt etc are being used here. Thankfully we simple citizens have the Bill of Rights, right?

Now about that "every time he breads the law" thingy. What law has been broken? I'm not reading one in the articles of impeachment. Oh, we've heard it all, but, well, 3 years of investigations, counterintelligence investigations, 17 Intelligence agencies investigating, 5 eyes investigating, all helped by foreign nationals from Russia, Britain, Australia and the Ukraine ... and ... nothing. Amazing. Yet here we are.

 

You should know by now that it's a never ending story. Children like Harry Potter. Democrats hate Trump. Democrats act like children. Children like fiction.

Good for them I say. Since obviously they have absolutely no intention of ever doing any meaningful work, the next best thing is for them to keep playing these partisan games so that they don't continue doing any real harm to this nation. Works for me. Of course they are going to play games until voters respond at the end of 2020 by handing the House back to the GOP.

 

It won't happen in the Senate. If the House clowns want to try putting on a 2 ring circus, one in each chamber, they will be performing by themselves.

 

I never knew that investing in the DOW, NASDAQ and S&P was restricted to white conservative Trump loving Americans, but that’s what I love about this forum. I learn something new everyday.

 

A high risk? A transportation company valued at $72 billion that doesn’t even own a single vehicle? That’s not a risk, that’s an easy short. Uber is the dot bombs of the late ‘90s. You’re taking a higher risk getting a ride in an Uber car.

 

I forgot to add that Uber has over 1200 civil lawsuits and 7 federal class action lawsuits against them. They also had 3600 claims of sexual assault, numerous wrongful deaths and a revolving door of upper management that spins so fast the National Weather Service has classified Uber an F-5.

 

It is not that difficult for you to trade in US markets if you want to. You will need an international broker. There is also the consideration of foreign currency exchange differences. You also need to be mindful of US futures since the time difference could make your buying and selling decisions slightly more complicated. Markets don't move that fast though. I would advise you begin by investing in indexed funds or ETF's. While the Australian markets are doing pretty good there are definite advantages in investing in our much larger US exchanges. US market also have many more options for investing in technology than what is available on the ASX.

Tell me how its share float is going. Nowhere in the entire Planet has Uber made a profit. It is a financial black hole sucking up capital, most Saudi Arabian. My own suspicion is that ii is laundering very dirty money.

 

Oh I know. I own a Taxi 'medallion' (in your language here,) and I am part of a Class action taken against Uber as I type. There is also litigation against Government I am part of.
