Depends on how things are translated through the interpretation of the translator ... if you are a person who believes that Lev 18:22 is concerned with ALL homosexual acts then yes homosexuality would be a sin .. however if you take the literally translation it talks about forcing a man to take part in a homosexual act (rape) is a sin, it says nothing about consensual sex between men or women for that matter, the only abomination is if they have sex in the woman's bed, which is a very different interpretation from the first.

    To you.

    Yes.

Yes it is. It's certainly not the person committing the act.

It's in the thread about Christian Mingle forced to accept gay singles.

If the God of the Bible exists then it doesn't matter what you think of him. He's God, you're not. He makes the rules, you don't. If he exists it doesn't matter what type of reasoning you can come up with. If he sees fit to send you to hell then there's absolutely nothing you can do.

You show me how your morals are better than the Bible. You show me how we live a better life living by your morals.

Objectively immoral actions ate condoned by it.
Within the context I'm using the word it isn't an action. If you can't address the subject in the context I am using, you ate being obstinate and bigoted ands there is no use in you attempting to discuss this subject except for to hear your echo.
That wasn't what i was talking about.
Nor does it matter what the bible says about him.
Nor do the demented authors of the various books of the bible.

    Okay
Simple as it can be. Morality must be consistent and not relative.

No. Read about the actual viability of (so-called) "reparative therapy" and learn something.

    What?

    You're starting to become incoherent.

Then what were you talking about?

It does if we can prove or give substantial evidence that the Bible is accurate.

    They weren't demented.

That's a relative statement. The Bible is consistent and specific.

Wrong .. I suggest you try using a dictionary.

Homosexuality - Sexual attraction to people of one’s own sex. - http://www.oxforddictionaries.com/definition/english/homosexuality ergo homosexuality is not an act, what you are attempting to do is to project that homosexuality is an adjective when in reality it is a noun.

    adjective - http://www.oxforddictionaries.com/definition/english/adjective
    noun - http://www.oxforddictionaries.com/definition/english/noun

    Like what?

I understood up until the first comma of your statement.

    I did. That's why I asked.
Ok, explain how did the writers knew that you should wash your hands in running water if you touch a dead thing long before modern science discovered it not before ridiculing the notion.

    The writers.

You show me where it isn't.

As I said homosexuality is not an adjective, interesting that you only cite the definition of attraction that you think suits your assumption.

Attraction - A quality or feature that evokes interest, liking, or desire: - http://www.oxforddictionaries.com/definition/english/attraction.

That is how many people in the religious belligerent party think.

The Bible is not 'science' (and science so far, is as exact a thing as we have as a race). Religion and its related texts are subject to many 'interpretations'... even by the greatest of scholars.

The Bible can be used as a foundation for 'faith'. Still... faith is about as far as one can go with it, as it relates to MANY aspects of reality. That is... one can show their beliefs as they are manifested by/within one's own life. Beyond that, others can/will have other faiths, beliefs, facts and reality itself.

So, what I'm adamant about... are people holding up the Bible as if it were THE thing which defines ALL of reality for EVERYONE... when it is not. I respect a person's right to hold faith/belief... but never will I honor the notion that one person's belief/faith should be imposed upon 'homosexuals' or anyone else.

If you read how Jesus re-defined everything, the law, how people interact, zero judgement of sinners, repentance and forgiveness for all, all anyone has to do is look in a mirror, change the person you see in that mirror, that is the only person we should judge, OURSELVES, each person must seek their own salvation, with fear and trembling.

    Philippians 2:12 (KJV)

12 Wherefore, my beloved, as ye have always obeyed, not as in my presence only, but now much more in my absence, work out your own salvation with fear and trembling.

No human can save your soul, you cannot save anyone else's soul, it is all a personal effort, forget about what others are doing, get yourself right.

    Mathew 7:5

    Thou hypocrite, first cast out the beam out of thine own eye;
and then shalt thou see clearly to cast out the mote out of thy brother's eye.

Indeed. I can relate to that. Still, so many who use the Bible... 'impose' things upon other human beings. They are just doing 'damage'.
