LOL! Now show me how in any way that relates to women's right to their own body or how that relates to the topic....it's irrelevant and meaningless.

Are you a U.S. citizen or an Australian citizen?

    Baloney!

THIS "leftie" believes American citizens should have the right to their own bodies in every state.

Yeah, but not in every state. No federal law like the US.

Is it your business if someone is murdered in cold blood?

"MILK!" Show me how in any way MILK relates to women's right to their own body or how that relates to the topic! It's irrelevant and meaningless!

So are analogies only okay if you use them?

Lets try again: Since when was something ONLY a consequence if it affects someone?

Try your best this time to reply with something with a LITTLE bit more intelligence than:
Will that be possible for you?

Although not really a major issue for me, my understanding is that abortion has been deemed legal throughout the U.S. by our Supreme Court, allowing the States to apply some restrictions but not an outright ban.
I find that totally acceptable, and in my home State there are both some restrictions as well as some penalties for abortions perform ed/acquired beyond the laws.

A politicians views on abortion (pro/anti) would have nothing at all to do with my decision to vote for or against him/her.

It should be the business of the legal system, and MY business only if I had some relevant testimony needed by the court to be presented to the jury and Judge to make the best decision they can based on ALL the evidence presented.

Sure, but MANY morals are common among everyone who has a normal functioning mind in our free, Western culture.

It regulates what procedures can be performed though, right?

The law doesn't allow us to kill someone just because they are harming us. What law are you thinking of?

I know that, but why are you telling me when I don't believe that the fetus is deemed a legal person?

Although you would have a moral position on murder in cold blood, right?

Hilarious contradiction! It can't be "hers completely" if "his DNA is in the fetus!" :roflol:

He has nothing to say about his own kid? Surely you can't be serious!

I didn't say that it was his ALONE!

Obviously not! Which doesn't mean that he can't have his say and encourage the women to decide a certain way. Abortion is something that should always be discussed seriously between the two parents. I think even you would agree with that.

Unless it was a legal abortion, I probably would.

I'll now unsubscribe from this thread as I don't live in Australia, and allow you and other Australians to decide how the abortion issue should be handled there.

I guess you have once again reached the end of your ability to respond to me! I'm going to assume that you have pathetically placed me on ignore again! I wonder if you will make a public announcement that you have like last time - you seem to think that it is some sort of act of bravery or something to put someone on ignore! :roflol:

Not really, unless they are a friend or family. Regardless we are debating abortion which has only one person truly involved...the pregnant woman.

Oh right, so the father who didn't want her to get the abortion isn't affected?

You realise that this thread isn't an Australia specific thread right?

End of my patience with trolling behaviour

IF i thought for one minute you would actually want to take time to learn some facts I would persist but each and every time I have attempted a serious discussion I have had my words twisted

Not smart, not debate and not productive - ultimately you are the one who loses by remaining ignorant of what I can teach
