I definitely think a combination system is what's needed. Both parties are so rigid at times it creates really bad results for its population. But not taking care of our poor leads to crime , child neglect, and other bad things for society.

I would love to have universal health care, a lower retirement age, rent controlled property for poor, etc... hence we have to limit how many people come here so we can take care of what we have. I feel like I am what democrats were in the 90s.

It's not Trump's fault, it's not Biden's fault. Or, it's both. This was the inevitable result of the curveball that was COVID. We would be going through this even if Trump had won the election. If you want to blame Biden, you'd better blame Trump too. Both men were in power when stimulus packages were approved and they signed them.

Plus, neither Trump nor Biden have any control over companies raising prices purely because they have the cover of inflation to do so. If prices had actually risen with costs, prices would all be lower. There is artificial inflation going on as well. Neither man can stop that without instituting controversial and potentially illegal price controls.

Money talks, bull **** walks. I don't have dinners with politicians nor am I a donor or in the donor class. You want politicians to represent the average and/or below average citizen, take money out of the election process. The wealthy will almost always be able to look out for themselves but it should not be done by skewing the system for the wealthy and uber wealthy by eating away the middle and poor. Good read:

How many bills out of the gop house to expand food stamps? Seriously, I hate when republicans pretend to care about the poor when it’s only a tool to defend not helping someone else. meanwhile every red state is always looking for ways to cut food stamps lol

So you want socialism but instead vote for free market capitalists because some or those freebies might go to foreigners?
