If Blacks are less intelligent what should we do?

I don't buy any of it. There are just too many highly intelligent blacks (call them statistical outliers if you want) that show blacks can be as intelligent as whites or Asians. That being the case, there are other reasons than native intelligence for the lower averages.

But no one claims ie, ALL whites are smarter than ALL Blacks... OR that ALL Asians are smarter than ALL whites.
This is about Averages.

Why should they?

I mean, the utility of IQ testing is to determine who has the capacity for certain levels of intellectual work, either at a job or in school. That way we don't have to waste time trying to push people into classes and positions they're not capable of. So if, for whatever reason, they are unable to test well enough to get into Harvard Medical, doesn't that give you the information you need so that someone who has the ability to get through that type of rigorous program can take that position? Whether a person's failure is due to a single parent home or witnessing abuse seems irrelevant if it's unlikely they are intellectually up to the challenge.

 

You don't seem to understand normal distribution. There are highly intelligent Blacks, just far fewer. The range of Black and White intelligence is likely the same.

Yes, statistical outliers is the correct technical term.

 

The further you move right along the bell curve the fewer high IQ blacks you see in comparison to whites, European descended Jews and Northeast Asians. I am unaware of blacks dominating any intellectual, professional or academic field.

Perhaps the highly intelligent blacks you have in mind are just engineers, but not the leaders in the fields of engineering or any field?

There is a huge difference between being in a field and leading a field.

 

No I don't 'got it'. What the mountains of data AND accompanying statistical outliers indicate is that there are factors other than native intelligence at work. Averages don't mean a thing.
