If Trump burned everybody alive who didn't vote for him, would you then condemn him?

God didn’t write the Bible. People did.

Just the ones that give it to their children who won't say that god got that wrong.

The specific Christians that do, yes.

I will not however condemn all Christians because some have those beliefs.

They quote god, or the god/Jesus, often. God wrote the 10 Commandments.

You must not be ethical or have any moral courage because the Constitution still says non-whites are 3/5ths a person.

No, the writer of Exodus claims god wrote the 10 Commandments.

I condemn those Christians who are so immoral that they endorse a book to their children that says to kill gays in it....not doing so is to have low ethical standards. Let's not sink to the low ethical standards of most Christians.

I approve of improvements/changes, but Christians clearly don't regarding the Bible.

Well guess what? "Rocketing before" is total hogwash. The launch took place election day, and any research of the market closing numbers proves that is beyond question.
Trump does not directly control the market- the investors do. Little ones like me, big ones with hedge funds. IF we see a bright economic future, we invest more- if it's a dim one, we sit tight and the market does not move, or moves slowly and cautiously.

The market directly reflects the confidence the investing world has in the future of the American economy- and that is what Trump is influencing.

Today is another great day in the market for me. I have a few losers, which is not unusual. But, a few winners too. Bottom line?
Not too shabby- I can live with it. I probably did a lot better than most, because I was in the right stocks.
Now it's early in the day, and it may well go sour before the closing bell and fall substantially- so who knows. So far, so good...

I blame the Nigerians who made that law. And you've taken this thread into the ridiculous with little going for it. It's outlasted it's entertainment value.

Many Christians believe that GOD wrote the 10 Commandments, so the Bible is dangerous, even though you do make a valid point.

And it’s not good enough for them to teach that those things aren’t right?

Would you condemn a parent who let their child read Huckleberry Finn with its portrayal of black people?

How are you not just demanding mindless censorship?

How exactly is that belief itself dangerous?

Belief in god steers one towards magic and fear, and away from science and reason. They don't try to find solutions to problems because they feel that "god did it", so why look further for a scientific explanation.

If Christians would say to their kids that "god got this part wrong", and spell out which parts those are, then you might have a point. Huck Finn is not "breathed on by god", like all scripture allegedly is.

I'll bet anything that your beliefs on creation involve magic.

If he can then he's an ****** for letting his word be mostly expressed by ancient goat-herders!! He'd be the stupidest entity ever! He's gotta be sitting up their going "crap, I really need to write a book since the Bible got it so terribly wrong!!" :)
"Those fools who wrote the Bible think I killed innocent babies - man I gotta get off my butt write a book that doesn't make me look so evil like the Bible does!" :)

I don't know 100% how it started, so you'd be wrong.

Science shows that the Adam/Eve story is wrong.

And you remove the historical context from the text without any need. The kind of parent who would teach their kids to treat gays normally don’t need to remove those passages. The kind who would teach their kids to mistreat gays wouldn’t remove those passages at all.

He can't give us the final cure for cancer, so there's a LOT he can't do.

No, no it's not. I have higher ethical standards than Christians/Muslims do, obviously.

You don't believe God exists so if he doesn't exists how could he "get it wrong" and how could you be so angry ay someone who doesn't exist? Third base.
