Why not shooting competition?

 

The majority of rape and murder are commited by people the victim knew and trusted... The probability that a gun would have saved her is slim to none in those case.

And if a woman has a firearm, she is just as empowered to take violent action as a man with same. And the average woman's violent actions against the average man have a much higher lethal potential if she has (and is competent with) a firearm than if not. And as long as that violent action is purely defensive and in protection of immediate life and health, its also lawful and IMO moral.

What's the point of this thread? No one has presented any evidence at all to show that women without guns are more likely to be murdered and raped. What's the point of continually making claims that have no factual basis?

what kind of a society does one live in that fear of being raped necessitates the carrying of lethal weapon?? When rape crime is that out of hand........ then the society is sick to the core.

 

Its a lot better than it used to be... think of living in 1600's Europe when no one CARED if you were raped? Kind of like modern day living in a Muslim country.
