Obviously, the death penalty is imposed upon those who commit that crime.

Tell us again about how the mentally disabled cannot make choices - about how they have no choice in the act of killing themselves.
    Please.

Everything that is truly free, sunshine, air to breathe, is given each and every one of us daily. Everything else requires some individual effort to acquire.

In my opinion, if we ban dangerous drugs, we should put very strict restrictions on firearms.

    Carfentanil is illegal.

Just consider yourself extremely lucky and move on. I'm not against banning guns, btw, just awestruck by how many people have zero idea about chemical imbalances in the brain and the effect it has on humans.

Tell us again how disabled people can't choose to walk..... /sigh

When I went blind, apart from getting a few kills just to prove I still could, I gave my guns up for a while.
Because I was in screaming agony 24/7.

It never got the point where I felt suicidal. My mental process stayed at "Just breath again". Take life one second at a time level of consciousness.
But I was worried about it.

Congratulations, but "just breath again," doesn't work for chemical imbalances in the brain. Anguish from a traumatic event is a completely different thing. A chemical imbalance in the brain is a physical reality. (I say this as a person with bi-polar disorder. If I'm not diligent with my meds, my meltdowns are completely out of my control. I can't just wish the physical side effects away.)

You either have a choice in committing suicide, or you don't. Which is it?

Why won't you address this question, asked in reference to your claims?

A person who is deeply in debt without income who commits suicide so their spouse can get the insurance month definitely made a choice. A person who cannot distinguish between reality and the voices in their head due to a chemical imbalance in the brain, probably doesn't have a choice. Do you think the mentally ill are making it up? They can choose not to be schizophrenic or a sociopath?

Can you choose to not have high blood pressure? Is it your choice if your appendix is about to explode? Just wish it away - make that choice to not have your appendix explode? Did a person who had a skiing accident choose to get a broken leg?

And, again, as a reminder - I am a strong supporter of the 2nd and have no desire to take away your guns because the mentally ill exist. That doesn't discount the reality that chemical imbalances cause people to do all sorts of things they would never do if the condition was under control because they have medical help.

I've said my piece on this.

And thus, the person himself - not the gun, and certainly not the 2nd Amendment - killed him.
And thus, he will kill himself, regardless of the presence of a firearm.

Your claims that these people "are killed are killed by availability of guns" and "the Second Amendment takes their Right to Life away" have absolutely no merit.

    No. That's bollocks.

The path of least resistance is the path most trodden.
The easier it is to kill yourself the more likely you are to do it.

It takes but a second with a gun. You only have to be in the grip of an irrational thought for that long.
Sitting in car with the engine running, gives you a great many more seconds to have a rational thought.

Plus the presence of a gun provides mental stimulus.
Just as when a dog see's food he thinks of eating (salivates). When a person sees a gun they think of it's purpose. Subconscious thought.

Suicide rates amongst gun owners is higher than amongst non gun owners.
You are a gun owner. Take the responsibility seriously.

No one gives a **** about your stupid laws.
Second amendment doesn't mean dick. You live in a country that already has widespread gun bans. What a ****ing lame excuse for anything that is.
Words on paper=dogma. That is all. Stories from a history book,

Quote me saying that. I'll be here waiting.

I have never in my life made such a claim. You apparently only read part of my posts. Did you miss the part where I said:

    I'll simplify it for you.

A gun is NEVER to blame when a mentally ill person commits suicide with a gun.

So, you could live in a dystopian hell, the worst environment ever created by powerful sociopaths, and as long as you had those 3 free things, given you place the greatest importance on them, you would be quite satisfied and happy?

No sir, you are thinking on the most superficial level. The most important rights do not include any of these things. You must be a modern leftist? I ask this as an old more traditional FDR kinda of leftist.

You call yourself an FDR leftist and yet FDR advocated for a second bill of rights with all kinds of goodies.

Did the ban on drugs end drug use? Other things that are banned. Speeding, Illegal Aliens, child porn, rape, robbery, murder, driving without insurance, peeing in public, drunken driving, driving under the influence, beating your wife, on and on.

Only a moron thinks any ban works.
