Funny. You know Jesus was prophesied, when he showed up though, they still didn't believe. So if I did give you your court room evidence, you still would not believe. When your judgment day comes, I hope God can forgive your so called court room evidence. And in pleading for your guilt, I hope God does not ask for your court room evidence. For He will have all the court room evidence, you wished he did not.

The Jesus we have presented to us in the New Testament has been so edited by his disciples, and soon after by Rome, how would I know if I was better or worse than the real Christ? Besides, what are the moral and social standards these comparisons are to be made by?A distorted version of his teachings handed down to us as Christianity, some more recent philosophical system or personal bias? The question itself is so fraught with ambiguities and unjustified presumptions not even Barbara Thiering could answer it accurately.

You must try and look at it through God's eyes. For it is not God who torture's, but rather satan. When someone chooses sin, they are accepting what comes with it. For a thief does not get caught, and go unpunished. The thief accepts what may come with his/her decision. And that thing that comes with it, is of satan, and rightfully so, for it was stealing and not of God. Another words, choosing sin is to abandoned God. And to abandoned God is to be with satan.

It is written, that Jesus will get rid of satan. And believe me, you also have a direct connection to Jesus or God. I don't think Jesus has to snap his fingers to get rid of satan. For it is also written that when Jesus comes again, he will come with a sword in his mouth. Jesus preached in parables, to keep the faithful with a watchful eye. The parable with the sword in the mouth, to me, is Jesus is only going to speak the word of truth, speaking will be his weapon.

The torture in which you are speaking about is of satan only. For it is you that abandoned God, in doing so leaves you only with satan, and the torture that he possesses. For with God is to not be tortured, the choice is ours.

And with your previous or above paragraph, it would only be obvious in which one you chose. You blame God for the great flood, when in reality it was mankind that chose it. For at the time their hearts were evil and without God. So it would only be fitting to allow those who chose not God, to get what they asked for.

For a man to tell his wife that she is beautiful, is to get a kiss. For a man to tell his wife that she is ugly, is to get a slap. So you see, is not the man getting what pertains to his decision rightfully just? One is of love, and the other of evil. Or one is of God, and the other of satan.

So by that Christian logic (hehe, I love oxymorons), the Jews chose the Holocaust (they didn't have to act in ways that were contrary to how Hitler wanted them to behave, after all), and Hitler (like god in the flood), simply carried out what they chose, so we can't blame Hitler and we can't blame god for their genocides.

No, see Modern Secular Humanism doesn't stand for genocide, but Nazism, and Christianity, and Islam* fully approve of genocide.

*Sahih Muslim Book 041, Number 6985:
Mohammad said: The last hour would not come unless the Muslims will fight against the Jews and the Muslims would kill them until the Jews would hide themselves behind a stone or a tree and a stone or a tree would say: Muslim, or the servant of Allah, there is a Jew behind me; come and kill him; but the tree Gharqad would not say, for it is the tree of the Jews.
    http://quotingislam.blogspot.com/2011/06/muhammad-says-that-one-day-very-trees.html

PS Mohammad also thought that ants could talk to people, and from above he also thought that stones and trees can talk, and that some trees favor people of certain religions. Mohammad also had suicidal tendencies, so, uh, that 'splains a lot.

JESUS would know what would convince me (if he's all-powerful and all-loving as advertised)! But he sits on his hands on purpose, knowing (god/Jesus know the future) full well that I'm (allegeldy) hell-bound, and does NOTHING. What a sick SOB he is.

Richard Dawkins is more moral than Jesus because Dawkins, if he had god's alleged powers, would eliminate Satan, or at least put him under permanent house-arrest.

I'd like to, but I have a hard time (call me crazy) looking through the eyes of a genocidal maniac. Can you condemn Jesus for not condemning his dad's genocide? Surely Jesus, if he was moral, would condemn genocide of an estimated 25 million people AND virtually all the innocent animals on earth, right? Or are our expectations of the perfect man so low as to not expect this? Expect more from the "perfect man", my friend.

These people are so crazy as to believe in talking snakes, dragons, unicorns, talking snakes (all in the bible), so a man returning from the dead with literally a sword sticking out of his mouth seems like something they might actually say (not just metaphorically)!

Yes, I think we can agree on that, as likewise, Hitler didn't actually torture the Jews, he had other people do it, like god has Satan do all his torturing, and GW Bush didn't torture those people at Abu Gharaib himself, he got other people to do the torturing....good point.

Jesus will eliminate satan. I believe in doing so, casts those that are with sin into the lake. For those who are of sin, are of satan, for there is no sin without him. The reason he has not done it yet, is to give chances to those who need them. So eternity is not spent in the lake.

By eliminating "satan" in, say, the first week after he died and became god-like, Dawkins (if he were in Jesus' shoes), would have alleviated far far more suffering than if and when Jesus eliminates the Devil. That's because Dawkins cares about people more than Jesus - so it's probably wise to leave Jesus.

You seem to think that God does not know what is in the hearts of men. In the time of the great flood, every man's heart was of evil, murder, adultery, worship of false god's, etc. God had truly wished he never created man. He was going to take us all out, but in the heart of Noah, he found love. So he spared man, and all the creatures of earth. But in doing so he had to be rid of the evil ones, which was, other than Noah and his family, everyone. Sometimes I think just Noah had a pure heart, and God delivered him with his loved ones. I think you misunderstand the knowledge of both good and evil. For the knowledge of evil, comes with questioning God. If man never ate from the tree of knowledge, we would still be in the Garden with God, nor could we act in sin. And the tree still tempting us. One can take the tree of knowledge literal or as an analogy into obtaining it against God's will. It might not be an actual tree. However, evil is something that God is very intolerable towards. And rightfully so, for evil is what has shaped our world, and made it very unholy. This is why God is so angry with men and their sin. We are to blind to see of what the world could be like through God, or love. We cannot even imagine it, can you?

God will never abandoned his children. Rather we abandoned him. For it is the fruits of sin, in which we desire. It is not God punishing us, rather we choose the sin and the consequences thereof, for just a brief fulfillment of desire, in which whatever the sin pertains.

If you are married, think of your wife/husband having an affair on you. If indeed you are truly in love, this is going to hurt badly. That overwhelming feeling of betrayal, lost love, and all the indescribable feelings that comes with it. This is exactly how God feels when we choose sin over love. For God is love, and satan is sin. And God loves us, unconditionally. What comes with God, is the love and feeling you have for your wife/husband. What comes with sin, is the affair. Or the destruction of love.

If one cannot trust, how then can one make it in this world? You apparently trust everything man has taught you, which for the most part is a lie. And deny your God. For God knows what is truly in your heart(I think you know it also), and will proceed accordingly. Who has fooled the 6 billion people of earth, God or satan?

See, I'm more moral and compassionate than you invisible friend in the sky is, because if my spouse cheated on me I would not torture that person forever like your invisible friend allegedly does (and his son Jesus is fine with that barbaric scheme.) No, I'm far more moral than the Yahweh family is.

His son wanted people to abandon their children in Luke 14:26 " “If you come to me but will not leave your family, you cannot be my follower." I think we can agree that hoping that people abandon their own children is only something that a child-hating person would do, right?

Oh fantastic! That means that as we speak, "god" is eliminating the evil Devil, and should likely have the job finished by morning (him being alll-powerful and all). Fantastic!

You apparently trust everything that Jesus has taught you, which for the most part is a lie ("love your neighbor" is cool, but him seeing that Gandhi is tortured beyond recognition in his Auschwitz-like "lake of fire" is not cool, in fact, it's downright immoral and barbaric and worse that what even Hitler would do to Gandhi.)

You have created to me, a straw man. The straw man is your image of this dude called JC. And so you then rail and rant against what you created. It must be very entertaining for this? Of course, those, most, who will then argue with you, also have created a straw man, as they also have an image created by their limited brains.

I do not have much of an image at all of JC. I think he was like the others that came before him, and after him, in that they had transcended the ego, which is a creation of the human brain. And having transcended it, were not ruled over by it.

And JC and the others like him, came to try to teach man how to transcend their own egos, and the state that manifests in consciousness is then called the kingdom of heaven. They did not concern themselves with changing the society they were born into, for they knew that all human societies are a reflection of the inner state of consciousness. So, if society were to change, i.e. no slavery, man must first change within himself, for his fallen state of consciousness ,ego consciousness, has created these brutal societies. And changing the society, will not change inner man, inner man has to change first, and then that creates a good society.

If man does not change, then he will continue to create hell on earth. It really is up to the each of us, to seek that change, within ourselves. This is what all of the spiritual men have tried to teach humanity, to no avail. And no doubt, we will get more of these avatars that will keep bringing this message to humanity. And various prophesies have said throughout the ages, that one day, it will finally "take" in one or two, or three of us. And once it takes, this will be what is needed for the catalyst to do its job, and human consciousness will finally evolve out of what it has been for at least 50,000 years, a monkey brain. That will be the salvation of humanity, when and if it does happen, unless we in our ego driven world, destroy ourselves first.

All that you are doing, is what the so called religious have done for thousands of years. Stirring the pot of (*)(*)(*)(*), making it stink more, and not solving anything at all. And remaining in a deep egocentric state, which only creates more hell on earth. But you do not seem to be the sort of character that is interested in truth, interested in the plight of humanity, and offer nothing positive at all with these attacks. For you will not convince these faux religious people of anything, you only stiffen their backs in resistance. You make them worse. LOL These true believers have not changed themselves nor the world. They have only made it more hellish at the end of the day. They are not interested but in one thing. Perpetual life for their own egos, which their brain creates from memory of daily existence. And when you attack their Christ, the image they have created of it, you are attacking their egos. How does that generally work out? LOL. But there has to be gratification for you own ego, or you would not do it. So all of this just looks like, to me, one vast Circle Jerk. Pardon my lack of tact.

"I am the way and the truth and the life". Who said that? Trump? No an even bigger ego-maniac, "JC". Even Trump doesn't have as big of an ego as JC had. Look up "ego" in the dictionary any you'll likely see a picture of JC.

No, I've embraced science, embraced reason, embraced common sense, embraced court-room levels of evidence to make important decisions, etc. - I have not abandoned "god" (unless "god" is against those things.)
