4 years after the war had ended, because President Clinton thought the sanctions were to severe, but still needed to be kept in place. And here is the kicker, it was not even a new plan. It was really just a re-hashing of UNSCR 706 from 1991. But Iraq refused to agree to it. They only signed on in 2996 when Russia and France agreed to be the countries that would run the program on the UN side.

But yea, this is pointless. No matter what you seem determined to blame the US for everything. And I find it pointless to try and have a discussion with an individual who is so obsessed that they ignore anything else.

    Goodbye.

You're just distracting around that it was a US plan. They put it in. And as a result was a genocide among young children. US,.. baby killers ones again. Just like in Yemen now.

So you have no problem with genocide then.

I said nothing of the sort - what an idiotic comment.

Bullcrap. You just implied that a nation being a threat to it's own people should not negate their sovereignty. You can not have it both ways.

Good. We have done our work there. They feel their military is able to stand on their own. Time to come home.

No - I implied it does not necessarily negate their sovereignty. I then went on to clarify by stating that this was a terrible justification for military intervention in general.
