Yes. It's just hidden as a tax credit. A negative tax goes against the definition of tax. I had a family member who spent a good part of the year behind bars. When he got out, he worked odd jobs, losing most of those jobs because he wouldn't show up for work. His income was low, and he and his crackhead baby mama got back $7,000 due to the earned income credit. Warms the heart, doesn't it?

Millions of them were rounded up back in the 50's, using antiquated technology, and sent back. Why wouldn't it be possible now?

"Rounding up" would not even be necessary to do. They'll pop up at some point, looking for welfare, looking for medical attention, etc. The problem is we aren't deporting them when they do. If we did that, many would not wait until they were caught, and would simply move back to their home countries. It would also discourage people from coming here in the first place.

It wouldn't be hard to do. But they vote the right way, so certain liberal politicians want them around.

CONGRESS sets amounts, percentages, writeoffs, credits, deductions, LOOPHOLES, and ALL other manner of 'tax code' of what the government gets from our paychecks!!!
