Not yet, there hasn't, but then North Korea's nuclear weapons program is still in its infancy. Why would you want to wait until it happens?

The US would do well-enough to end North Korea's nuclear ambitions and effect "Regime Change," which is all that matters in this instance.

I'm not afraid, rather I'm merely stating facts you don't want to hear.

Um, North Korea is nuclear. They've tested 5 nuclear devices and have sufficient weapons grade plutonium to build at least several more 20 kt warheads. North Korea has also restarted a nuclear reactor to produce more weapons grade plutonium.

Why would you want to kill 25 Million North Koreans when you don't have to do that?

    Nope, you're afraid.
NK won't use the nukes, unless they want to be wiped out and China wouldn't want them wiped out, all that nuke radiation floating in their skies.

We don't have to kill 25 Million NKs.

Never heard of the Balkan's war in the 1990's, thanks for the history lesson there.

Not too difficult to remove their air defenses first then we can bob them at our leisure.

"They" (whoever they are) will probably sneak all the components for so-called nuclear "dirty-bombs" into the U.S., assemble them, and set them off in high-visibility areas of great economic importance.

Why would anybody want to start a full-scale "missile war" with the U. S. as long as we are by far the most powerful nation on Earth? No, instead they'll sneak into the country like cockroaches, panic our population with low-power nukes that will scare the living hell out of everybody and send the economy into a tailspin.

Hint: I've read that you could put together a nuclear "dirty-bomb", using nothing more than nuclear waste and some explosives, in a container no bigger than a SOFT DRINK CAN. A bomb of that kind is thought to be able to put an area of about four square city blocks totally off-limits to transportation and business for about one month! Now, imagine that the cockroaches set off several of these things in several different large American cities in coordinated attacks! Look at what the 9/11 attacks did to the economy of this country for quite a few months! And all that did was knock down a couple of buildings and smash up part of the exterior of the Pentagon, without the scare-factor of anything "nuclear" about it....

"Dirty-bombs" are just one of the 'wonderful' possibilities that we must consider now, after eight years of Obama and "sanctuary cities". We currently live in a country without borders.... And there's plenty of poorly-secured nuclear waste all over the damned place!

For those "heroes" who want an invasion of North Korea, how many of you are heading out there to do your own fighting?

Please be sure to send us a picture post card of your heroic actions!

There are home grown people who could do the very same thing. If it's that easy.

You are quite right! As we've seen, after having encouraged all kinds of human crap to invade our country and breed, for decades, we've got lots of domestic wanna-be terrorists who would love to destroy our way of life in the United States.

They have an H-bomb, both the size of their tests and the fact that we feel confident they can put it on a rocket indicates that. An H-bomb is not at all that much harder to make than a fission bomb. It only took 4 years to develop one at first and that was because we didn't know the basic theory, Teller in fact, wanted to make one from the beginning.

I don't care if Un is said to be having Korean babies for dinner, it's up to the North Korean people to get rid of him or not and attacking him is going to do nothing but kill several million of our staunchest allies, very probably start a war that will end all life, and actually make Un a fulfilled prophet to his population. The ONLY reason for Un's bellicose posturing is to tighten his grip over his own people and The Stupidest President Ever Elected is playing right into his hands

OK, then, Alek... how would YOU handle the looming spectre of a North Korea which has become fully equipped with thermonuclear hydrogen bombs and the intercontinental missiles to deliver them right on top of your living room in the good old USA? Please... tell us!

None of whom have ever mounted any kind of large scale attack on us, despite the fact that we call them "human crap" even though they've done us less harm than most of the people you want to be here.

I'd ignore them, utterly. I might send diplomatic and cultural missions to expose his people to the West as far as possible but my understanding is they'll do little good so I'd probably keep even that to a minimum. Eventually, his people are going to overthrow him, and we are only keeping him in power with this ****.

Mind, I wouldn't trade with them, period and I'd let the world know I took a dim view of those that do. I might even offer to sell the Chinese coal at a price under theirs. (80% of their trade is coal to China, we have lots of coal)

Look, Un doesn't WANT to deliver his bombs to our doorstep. Un wants to drink Hennesey and probably have a harem of Korean girls (reputed by the Chinese to be the best looking Asians, though I wonder why). He certainly doesn't want to die in a nuclear fire. And the only thing scaring him more than dying in said fire is that someday his own people are going to get fed up with literally starving to death while he drinks fine brandy and cavorts. Therefore, he spends most of his time and a great deal of effort telling his people that the USA is coming to get them at any minute (which delusion is certainly not helped by their seeing an American Carrier Battle Thingie patrolling their shoreline) EVERYTHING is says is for his own people, not us. I think even HE knows this, but apparently our President, and some of his followers, don't.

We should treat North Korea as if they were a swarm of killer hornets all carrying incurable cancer who have become somehow invulnerable to insecticide and have an armored nest with flamethrowers of their own. I've always been told that of all the things you can do to such hitting them with a baseball bat, especially while your little brothers are standing right under them, is among the most ill-advised but I guess conservatives know better. Why, what do you think we should do with North Korea?

Yet it hasn't happened. Those materials are tightly controlled.
So to blame NK for something that could happen maybe someday when it can happen with Joe Blow from mainstreet USA, is a little silly.
