Is the American Taliban's version of God worse than Hitler?

I am making this argument on the premise of the conservative Christians on this board. This is an excellent example:

I have seen verse often cited to state that thinking of a sin (any sin) is just as bad as actually committing it (thought crime):

So on this premise:
1. The punishment of thought crimes. Lets say, disbelieving in the Christian God.
2. The said thought crime is for all eternity in the lake of fire (as often pushed by the American Taliban, and a thought the cited post above promotes)

Is the American Taliban's version of God worse than Hitler?
1. Hitler could not punish people for their thoughts.
2. Hitler could not punish people for all eternity.

On this premise, the American Taliban's model of God is worse than any dictator that has ever existed.

So before you accuse me of making strawmen (as usual), why not work on getting your own ranks in order?
