I think you're letting emotion and the abortion issue cloud your judgement. For my answer to be "biological nonsense", you'd have to be saying it is impossible for there to be any collection of human cells that doesn't consist of an individual human being. That would obviously be ridiculous, as the organ transplant example demonstrates. You should also remember that my answer was entirely and exclusively in relation to the experiment referenced in the OP. I didn't say anything about human foetuses.
Until you respond to my question for clarification I cannot answer. What was not true in my statement?

I didn't say they opposed it. My point is that the most virulent anti-choice folks are rarely into adopting any of those unwanted babies that they insist women carry to term.
What about those fertilized eggs being kept on ice in case an in vitro pregnancy is required at some time? Are those human beings?

What don't YOU understand about it? Are you saying that a human life begins at conception only via sexual intercourse? Then, what about embryos implanted after artificial fertilization? Is that not a human once its born? Or is it okay to abort that fetus because it isn't "natural?"
What if in vitro is the only way for a woman who wants a baby to get pregnant? What about women who don't marry young for whatever reason, and has some of her eggs harvested and frozen when she's young, in case she gets married later and by that time can no longer conceive natually? What about women who aren't married but want children, and opt for artificial insemination? I personally know two such women, whose children are grown now. Are those not natural human beings? My point here is that you don't seem to be considering all of the ramifications of this issue from a woman's perspective. A very tiny fraction of women make the choice without much thought, but for nearly all pregnant women who choose abortion, its an agonizing emotional choice, not taken lightly at all. No woman's choice should be anyone's business but her own. With all due respect, if you could get pregnant, perhaps you would fully understand this issue.
My opposition to the creation of human life on a mass scale to pick a winner and kill the rest remains.
