Our public schools have not been "about children" for decades.


It is an OUTRAGE that school vouchers are not LAW EVERYWHERE IN AMERICA, as both the TAX MONEY, and the CHILDREN, are OURS, not the government's, not the teachers' unions, not the Sleazocratic party's.

 

Pbama doesn't have to. He's the King. He can do as he pleases so it pleases him to pay women less. That's the definition of hypocrisy. And, honest women recognize the bull(*)(*)(*)(*) in the $.78 for ever $1 lie. So, that leaves liberal women to whine.

as well as charter schools. It never ceases to amaze me that a private school can deliver a better education with "all the trimmings" for less or equal to the per student cost at public schools.

 

Exactly, and that does not require a cookie cutter approach to education, nor does it require even a teacher. People will learn what they gravitate to learn. Teachers help in many cases and sometimes they hinder. Natural curiosity is squelched for the sledgehammer approach. You must learn THIS because have decided that THIS is important.

I was an honors student, did all AP, had a high SAT, did the whole multiple degree route...my brain was born for school and the type of educational system that honors lecture over hands on, memorization, etc. There were kids that tried harder but did worse. Those kids were penalized with grades that did not equate to their level of effort. I barely studied if I listened in class. School was easy for me and I excelled at it.

What talents I have society has deemed are more valuable, most prestigious than my neighbor who just spent three hours fixing my HVAC unit.

Now, Lindsay Lohan who is a hot drugged out drunken mess makes more than either of us just by allowing people to take pictures of her drunken drugged out mess because society values fame, beauty, and celebrity.

My friend who works in global relief makes less than all three of us and yet what she does is far more noble, hard, and generous.

We live in a completely BS corporate driven world that shares none of my values, so pardon me one and all if I really don't care whether or not a single student is taught the necessary skills for entering into this Anti-Christ abomination we call the future.

Let's see, Walker confirmed that he was still trying to negotiate with at least one Democrat, that the "Flee-o'crats" were going to be docked pay for not doing the jobs they were elected to do, that it is probably ILLEGAL for unions to be PAYING the Sleaz-o-crats to not do their jobs, that many teachers and other public sector employees would be layed off if the "status quo" of public sector union monopolies was maintained due to the financal realities of the situation, and that unions were busing in people from out of state to pose as Wisconsin voters.

You don't know why it was necessary to stop WEA Trust from MANDATING that local School Districts use WEA Trust Insurance - and is now trying to strong arm them with typical Unionista Thuggery? Did you know that Union Collective Bargaining had previously negotiated AWAY the right of individual School Districts to shop for the best rates for insurance for their members?

Did you not know that the average School District in Wisconsin has since saved about 25% on their Health Insurance plans by finally being given the CHOICE to leave WEA Trust (the Insurance Company SET UP by The Teacher's Union!!!!)

You didn't know that?

Did you know that WEA TRUST was ripping off School Districts across Wisconsin for MILLIONS OF DOLLARS? Not to mention the other damage done by granting Public Unions the illicit privilege to bargain with the same politicians they spend millions to get elected? Huh?
