Of course I don't support such tactics by the unions, which I've always made clear on this forum. My point continues to be that ending collective bargaining wasn't necessary for these changes to occur. These contracts are not permenant. The come up for renegotiation every fews years, if not annually, depending on the district. There is no reason why the districts couldn't have refused to continue to work through the WEA insurance trust. Districts could have spoken directly to the teachers, explained the situation. We aren't mindless drones who simply follow everything the unions want. The teachers of my district have voted against union desires many times.

Teachers got nothing from districts getting ripped off for insurance rates. Explain that to them and most would surely go against the unions ideas. Instead districts automatically assume every teacher is nicely fitted into the unions pockets, making it pointless, in their opinion, to reach out to them.

You know what is impressive Joker? Every week I do search on the status of Walker/Wisconsin, and it is like pulling hens teeth to find media sourced information on how Walker has in fact been fixing Wisconsin.

It is impressive ML2009 found something that got through the blockades.

What happens when Stalinists control most of the media. Look at the recent Trayvon Martin circus; how many distortions, half-truths and outright lies were exposed from the majority of the Dinosaur Media?

As long as "The Agenda" is being served, the Truth is subjective, when it comes to American journalism in today's world, sadly....

Walker was right all along. He proved his mindset and Policy were w/o question THE RIGHT
prescription for his State.Unlike Liberals and Unions who ran around insisting it was
Impossible to work.Well it has.Just like Governor Kasich in Ohio.
Liberals and Union leaders Beholdin to democrats are the Liars. They are the ones
destroying the States. Just compare neighbor Illinois { rife w/democrats } and
Wisconsin.Illinois is practically in Default.Guys like Liberal nutbagger Rahm Emanuel
have to Invent ways to Tax those in Chicago.
Walker talked the talk and Walked the Walk and got his state financial house in
order as he pledged. That is why such a Nationwide Putsch was made by national
Union groups and buffoonish bully like Trumka.
Most those Wisconsin Protests were bussed in from Union organized groups like
    SEIU and some Occupy folk.

Uh huh and do you remember how Bush's crony attempted to relax media consolidation rules back in 2003? And again in 2007...yessssss, it's coming back to you now. It's probably because...you've heard that Obama is trying to reinstate it you're just forgetting it was Bush/Cheney who attempted it first.

Both parties are trecherous, slimey, sneaky POS.

Back in the real world, Walker's economic policy has been a catastrophe for Wisconsin. According to the BLS, Wisconsin had the worst employment record in the nation over the past year, literally being the only state in the nation where employment _dropped_.

Conservatives, you may now choose your responses from the following list:

    A. "Unions suck!"
    B. "The BLS is a liberal conspiracy!"
    C. "That documented fact contradicts my preconceived beliefs, so I simply refuse to believe it!"
    D. "If you're resorting to clearly documented facts, you liberal leeches must be desperate!"
    E. "The table only lists 28 states, so it's obviously a liberal forgery!" (Hint: Figure out what "statistically significant" means.)
    F. "The other table says unemployment dropped, so the job losses can't be true!" (Hint: They're two totally different measurements.)
    G. "It doesn't matter, because Walker balanced the budget without raising taxes!" (except for the $143 million deficit, and those tax hikes on the working poor).

If any conservative has some other creative excuse for Walker, please put it forth. I know your party has ordered you to support the failure, so you're going to obey, being you don't want to be exiled from the herd. It's just a matter of what creative justification you come up with as to why having the worst job creation record in the nation actually indicates success.

I live in NJ and your union and MOST of your teachers are a (*)(*)(*)(*) joke. They cried as loudly as they could that they do it for the kids. But when Christie said ok, whatever is saved by you making those concessions we will return to your district in your budget so THE KIDS GET TAKEN CARE OF and you guys unanimously said NO WAY! It's all about the kids eh? NOPE! It's about soaking the system for as much pie as you can get.

It's killing them too. Ten years ago the New York Times stock was around $50 a share, today it's $6.39.

Nobody wants to read slanted tripe. They want to read just the news without any mainstream media spin.

We don't need your list. Wisconsin's unemployment rate is now @ 6.8%, and continues to drop. One of the issues is a skills mismatch problem, where there aren't enough skilled people to fill positions.

It also doesn't help that the FedGov is chronically overestimating the number of jobs Wisconsin loses every month, while simultaneously underestimating the number of jobs Wisconsin gains every month.

Liberalism: dishonest as the day is long.

I expect that number, public sector union members are fleeing the state.
