Insanity Episode Two.. Herman Cain will be unable to attend as he is currently hospitalized from the Rally in Tulsa. He sent his regrets and is ready to accept any fate that befalls him. I hope he says it was dumb of him to go that rally..

Showdown at Rushmore tonight.. Break out the extra special kettle corn.. Maybe George Washingtons eye will be blown out or Abe's beard will fall off.

100000 cases a day is gonna leave an enormous scar. The event should be cancelled due to the virus if nothing else. Hopefully Trump wears a mask..

He said that like his opinion matters! He may not think Trump was welcome, but Trump was THERE! :roflol:

So I can only assume that you were totally against the BLM protests which were only about one hundred thousand times larger in crowd size?

How is it none of his business? He's the president of the people who legally own the land.

Why would the opinion of the people who legally own the land not matter?

Not legally. Legally, Constitutionally, it belongs to the Oglala.

Are you saying that people require this dude's permission to go to Mount Rushmore and it's actually illegal to go without his permission? Surely not! :roflol:

I'm saying it is legally their land and maybe the US, including the President, should start obeying the law. If we were to obey the law, then yes, they would have the right to decide who goes on their land.

Isn't the entire US legally their land?

No, it is not. Some could argue that it is "rightfully" their land, though I disagree, but I'm talking about the law here, not abstract ethics.

We signed a treaty with the Oglala recognizing the land in question as belonging to them. Our Constitution says that this means such ownership is now the law of the land. The Supreme Court also ruled on this, acknowledging that the land is legally theirs.

Alright. I didn't know this. Any other part of the land where this applies?

Are the Arikara people still around, you know the ones the Sioux ran out of the Dakota region. Would their "president" say that the Sioux are not welcome perhaps.

They're still around. They live in North Dakota with the Mandans. The Sioux also drove the Absarokas out. But to the guilt wallowers that is 'Just one of those things'.

I'm talking about our nation's laws here. Now you know. Feel free to catch up.

Our nation's laws are every bit as legitimate as the Sioux's. If you recognize the Sioux as the owner's of the Black Hills because they took it by force from the Cheyenne, then you must also recognize America as the new, improved, owner's of the Black Hills because we took it the same way they did.

    Catch up? I've lapped you.

I'm not talking about the law of the Sioux. I'm talking about our nation's laws. If you really thought our nation's laws were legitimate, then you would acknowledge that this land belongs to the Sioux. OUR NATION'S LAWS, not theirs, say that this is their land. OUR CONSTITUTION says that this is their land. When can I expect you to actually start caring about the "legitimacy" of our nation's laws?

Catch up? I've lapped you several times over. Please pay attention to our nation's laws if you are going to pretend to comment on them. Or is that too much to ask?

Please read . . .and actually read this time instead of just responding without thinking or reading and calling it "lapping"

OUR LAWS say the land belongs to the Sioux. OURS. I'm not talking about the law of the Sioux. I'm basing my claim on OUR LAWS, which you are DESPERATELY AVOIDING

LOL~! Pick your knuckles up off the ground. All your Black Hills are belong to us.

It's really that simple. Please stay focused. Just for a minute.

Your position would require me to ignore our nation's laws. I'm sorry you think that it is "knuckle dragging" to obey US law. US law says the Black Hills belong to the Sioux. It's as simple as that. Please listen to reason and the law for at least a couple of minutes back-to-back, if that isn't too much to ask.

The Constitution disagrees with you on this subject. The land legally belongs to the Sioux. Legally. Constitutionally. We broke our own laws when we took it. You can respect our laws or you can say this land is Federal. It is logically impossible to do both. Which is it for you?
