Elections have been stolen in America throughout our history. The US is notorious for election rigging. Flagrant examples are common - especially in our cities where it is easy to steal elections.

“Since the country's colonial days, concerns of voter fraud have inspired ever-more complicated ways to cast one's ballot. Depending on where you live, you may vote tomorrow with a lever, a punch card, a marker or a touchscreen. As election scholar Andrew Gumbel notes, the U.S. has been both a "living experiment in the expansion of democratic rights" and a "world-class laboratory for vote suppression and election-stealing techniques.”

The RPe was happy to help get rid of that awful Trump.
It was apparently not happy to lose those two Senate seats. ;-)

It shrinks the window for early and absentee voting.

That window is still quite large.

The 2020 election was not stolen. You're right about one thing: I voted against Trump and I hoped the GOP would win the two Georgia Senate seats. Trump's whining worked against the GOP Senate candidates.

I dunno. Mitch McConnell sure looked like he was trying to sabotage his own majority before the Georgia election. Apparently the only part of the COVID legislation he found objectionable was the $1400 amount, meanwhile Trump was supporting $2000.

The RP establishment often operates more like a club than a serious political party.

I think Trump calling Georgians fraudsters and cheats for weeks before that special election was the problem. It didn't help that the two republican candidates kept repeating the lie that their fellow Georgians were cheats.

The RP establishment's fully exposed hostility to Trump and its failure to effectively oppose election fraud in the DP run cities doomed those Senate candidates.

Nope. Trump's self-centered whining was the problem. Had he been able to get beyond his "me-first" persona he'd probably still be President.

That seems to be the official RP position - 2+2=6. ;-)

"Republicans and Democrats have used accounting gimmicks and competing government analyses to deceive the public into believing that 2 + 2 = 6. If our leaders cannot agree on the numbers, if 'facts' are fictional, how can they possibly have a substantive debate on solutions?" J. C. Watts

That's the ONLY decision which matters. That's when she has all the power. If she proceeds beyond that point and thus exposes herself to a conception, it's because she wants to. When we talk about a problem, we discuss the consequences only in support of the key point. This is no different.

No, life is not a lot more complicated than we'd like. It's actually far simpler. We use the claim of complexity to excuse failures.

As you’ve been shown, ever investigation to date has shown voter fraud to be statistically zero. There has not been any stolen elections.

There was no fraud in DP run cities or anywhere else, as trumps own investigations have shown you.

Georgia state rep: I’m introducing a bill to make our state’s election laws the same as Delaware’s

    Take that, ashoe

    Turnabout.

Our rapidly deteriorating and confused President continues to lie and slander despite repeated admonishments by even the Washington Post's top fact checker. Joe Biden is a lying slandering race-baiter working to ensure that elections can continue to be stolen in this country, while the GA legislature, legally, constitutionally and properly tightened up some of the COVID protocols that made it easier to steal legal votes undetected. Their reforms are perfectly reasonable. They have INCREASED poll access by adding both hours and days to early voting to make sure that everyone who wishes to cast a LEGAL ballot has abundant opportunity to do so. In fact, their voting procedures still remain even somewhat more lax than Lying Slandering Race-Baiting and Rapidly Declining Joe Biden's home state where his crack addled son Hunter casts his vote.

So, a GA State Rep, fed up with Lying, Declining, Slandering, Race-Baiting Joe's vicious divisive lies is introducing, not just one, but TWO bills.
This is the proper, and very American, FU response to these lying, slandering race-baiting bastards that think they can continue to lie and slander State Legislatures acting properly, just because it will make it more difficult for these Democrats in high office to make sure that they can safely steal an election, undetected.

Can these lying slandering bastards see which fingers are sticking up? Thank goodness this is a free country and we can get right back up in these liars faces and hit them with truth bombs!

It's the same way you don't recall him shaming women who have plastic surgery, making fun of disabled people and telling lies.

    Yet, it all happened.

There have been very few serious investigations of elections in the US. Why deny the obvious?
American politicians have always been very attached to election rigging.

"It remains true, however, that flagrant examples of such fraud in other parts of the country have been documented throughout this Nation’s history ... not only is the risk of voter fraud real but that it could affect the outcome of a close election." Crawford v. Marion County Election Bd., 553 U.S. 181 (2008) (emphasis mine)

More partisan denial of our long history of election rigging.

“Corruption also plagued paper ballots. For the better part of the 19th century they were more likely to be destroyed or manipulated than counted. In 1850's New York, party chieftain Boss Tweed used "floaters" to vote at several polling places across the city, "repeaters" to visit the same polling place more than once, and "plug-uglies" (thugs from Baltimore) to intimidate voters all over the city. The fake voters exploited the names of children, the deceased, even fictional characters. In 1869, 21-year-old Thomas Edison patented the design of a "switch-and-lever" voting machine, but he couldn't find any buyers. The status quo suited politicians just fine.”

Correct. That is a valid point.

We also had record turnout that was completely unpredictable. People were standing in line for several hours, which is unacceptable to me.

so the best you can do is show some fraud back in the mid 1800s. sounds like a win for how good our elections are today

Because I've refuted this silly claim of yours dozens of times.
you can not support this claim.
as we know from trumps own DHS, trumps DOJ, trumps Attorney General, Republican Governors, Republican Secretaries of state, every single court this has been in front of (over 60) and the right wing think tanks own heritage foundation study, voter fraud is statistically zero. It's just not an issue.
