It is perfectly legal to donate the water to the polling location and then let the poll workers distribute it.

 

Funny how Cons have done a complete 180 on poll workers after trashing them for months making death threats against them for scanning Biden ballots 5-10 times, hiding ballots under tables and counting fake votes. Now they trust them to hand out water without soliciting votes. Tells you their previous allegations against poll workers was utter crap.

 

All I can say is, keep on acting this way, it's terrible optics for repubs, and it WILL be one thing, among many, that will continue

If you can turn this bill into "It should never be illegal to give another human being a drink of water" so that supposedly educated people believe it, than you don't need the GOP to do anything; you can simply manufacture fake drama by yourself.

Georgia law appears to state that political pundits cannot offer gifts, including refreshments to voters. Why? Because that is called buying votes. A friend, a family member, your neighbor, your spouse, a co-worker of yours, or an election worker is free to give you water. Much ado about nothing.

 

What elite marrative? CNN and MSNBC push the narrative in one direction and Fox pushes it nearly equally in the opposite direction.

 

CNN and MSNBC transmit the approved elite narrative.

 

And Fox isn't doing the same?

Don't kid yourself. Most cable news is entertainment. Even the most watched cable news TV show said no reasonable person would take their host seriously and they are just entertainers.

 

Fox does not echo the dominant New York Times/Washington Post narrative. MSNBC and CNN have that, as well as NBC, CBS and ABC.

 

It's blatantly obvious that this law's intended purpose is to reduce voter turnout, particularly in the metropolitan areas of the state. Urban areas in Georgia tend to have longer lines for voting, and often times these people spend all day waiting in line just to vote. There simply is no rational argument that this is justified. It is pretty damn shameful

 

Nope, the law does not make any distinction as to who is giving out the water. All it allows is for the poll workers to do so, but where will they get the money to give out water to that many voters and they cannot leave the polling place to give it out 1 mile up the road when the line is really long.

Not to mention that fact that is is absurd to assume that someone will vote based upon a bottle of water handed to them

 

I know you don't believe that "OAN, Newsmax, and Foxnews" has anywhere near the influence of...every other news media outlet. That's just dumb.

Meanwhile, you prove my point by being in this thread pushing the fake story that the Georgia Legislature is trying to make voters die of thirst.

 

FoxNews alone has more viewers than CNN and MSNBC combined.

And this does not take into account the talk radio air waves which are pretty much all right wing with each showing saying the same thing hour after hour.

 

It is true they do not want them to die of thirst, just get too thirsty and tired to stay in the mile long line they created on purpose.

 

This is because the GOP controls where the polling stations are and how long they are open. Thus they put fewer in the urban areas to make it harder to vote.

 

Do you seriously think cable news and talk radio is the sum totality of news media? It's a tiny drop in a big sea.
