Yes and abortion is not a preventative measure.

While I would agree that men need to get and make a commitment before having procreational sex I disagree about 'rights'...Men have 0 rights when it comes to reproductive matters.

What are you talking about ? We are talking about homicide.

Since in the early stages of pregnancy there is no living human .. Obviously homicide is impossible.

I disagree.. Both parties have a part in the decision to have sex but only one has a part in the decision continue a pregnancy to term.

In the case of an unwanted pregnancy abortion "is" taking responsibility and this too is the decision of the woman.

If the woman wants to continue the Pregnancy she should not be able to force the man to support the resulting child.

If it is a mutual wish then both parties should sign some kind of form showing their mutual consent.

We are no longer living in the middle ages.

She doesn't. It's nothing to do with her. Children are entitled to be supported by both parents whenever possible.

Unfortunately, the only person who matters - the born child- isn't able to do that.

No. In the middle ages a man could father as many children as he wanted without needing to support them. Indeed, he could do that until comparatively recently.

Of course she does. If a woman makes a unilateral decision to go through with the pregnancy then the sperm doner is forced by the state to support the Child.

That's because a man cannot terminate a pregnancy.

It's the fact women become pregnant that gives them choices after sex.

There is no excuse not to know that.

Yes . .that is exactly what I said. The woman has the option to force a man to support her child.

How does knowing it is the womans choice the issue of responsibility ?

What if there is a verbal contract between the two parties ?

I think since now that women get birth control and for FREE by gov't mandate, that any man who says he wants no part of a child born to a woman that was unplanned by HIM, should be off the hook.

Time for men to get some new RIGHTS, instead of being beaten down by women all the time.

I think it is about responsibility ..

If a woman wants to have a child then she should be willing to take responsibility for that child. Now .. if there is a man that has also agreed to have a child with her .. 100% he should be responsible.

Women do not need men to take care of them and we need to stop pretending like they do.

Believe me .. if Women knew that there would be no man obliged to take care of both her and the Child there would be many less "irresponsible" pregnancies which would lessen the burden on the state.

No. A woman has the option of abortion, which will prevent their child being born.

A man cannot do anything to prevent his child being born.

There is no way of giving him the option to do that.

It isn't possible for a man to have a verbal contract with an unborn child.

    LMAO

Are they all wearing red Grannie…..the color of blood.

The color should be changed….silver to red.

Anyone who would join something like this is pro-death and anti children. They are narcissistic…and self centered and only care for themselves.

Sanger was evil she was a racist and she wanted the weeds killed.
In my book the weeds today are those who are pro-choice/abortion.
They are the ones we need to spray.

It's the mans body…he should be able to spread it anywhere he wants to spread it….

A woman consenting to sex….TAKES THE RISK..OF PREGNANCY because its HER BODY. The pro-choice group says yea to abortion that its her body her choice. So it should be the same with the mans sperm. His right to do what he wants with it…all the woman has to do is to say NO.

Based on the position of the ones who want abortion legal…the man should not be involved at all…he is a non issue.

I think the law should be changed so that the sperm donor himself has to perform the abortion. From what the pro-aborters tell me, it ain't no big deal, just sucking a 'zef' down a drain...Have a Doc show him.

Exactly .. which is why he is not, nor should he be made responsible for the child.

Nor is one needed. The person who chose to have the child is the responsible party.

He had a choice NOT to pull the trigger. If you have read any of my posts on the subject I have repeatedly advised men to not have procreational type sex unless he has given and gotten a written commitment on paper. That is his best hope of maybe asserting some kind of rights in case of a pregnancy.

My proposal to make it a law that the sperm donor does the abortion was a bit flip I admit however, I wonder how many of you women would want to allow a a man's penis into your vagina when the prospect of letting that same man 'vacuum' you out could loom in your future. Just trying to get folks to think ahead.

LOL .. I don't think we want the average sperm doner practicing medicine.

    Bad idea.

It wouldn't be 'medicine' it would be an abortion. From what pro-aborters tell me, it is really just a mechanical procedure. Lets make the 'lucky' couple REALLY responsible.

    That doesn't make sense.

The reason women aren't responsible for children they don't have, is because they don't have any to be responsible for.

    Do you understand that?

    It's not difficult.

He chose to have a child when he had sex.

The only choice nature gave him was to not have sex if he didn't want to be a father.

Science has given him the choice of using a condom or having a vasectomy.

The law has given him the right to make those choices.

Of course .. but your response does not address the issue.

The issue who is responsible for the Child that a woman chooses to have.

My claim is that if the man had no say in the decision to have a child then he should not be responsible.

No he did not. Choosing to have sex is not choosing to have a Child.

There are various means to prevent a Child from being born while still enjoying sex.

You left out an important choice.

The man can choose to make an agreement with his partner that if contraception does not work and she conceives that she will have an abortion.

In this way both the man and woman have "chosen" not to have child.

If the woman breaks this agreement then is should be her responsibility.

The ONLY reason he had the choice is because the woman let his penis into her vagina. It was a MUTUAL choice. There are lots of OTHER ways for a couple to pleasure each other sexually besides procreational type sex...Some women seem to be oblivious to this or, more likely, refuse to do it.

Contraception has as much as a 50% rate of failure so I would say that any type of procreational sex without a signed, commitment and contract is foolhardy for BOTH men and women but, mostly men because AFTER 'successful' procreational-type sex the man suddenly has 0 rights without a signed contract.

Since most women would prefer to avoid abortion I wonder why they are so eager to spread for a penis?
