Hoover's assistance in covering up the Kennedy coup is clear and unmistakable. He had the official narrative of the shooting out and spreading throughout the media and globe practically before Kennedy's corpse was cold. He was a festering sore on America's butt as were the people involved in the coup.
All false. There was no coup and there was no official conclusion until after the Warren Commission report was published. Oswald acted alone as the evidence proves. Hoover may well have stone walled some in helping the Warren Commission but his motive was nothing more sinister than protcting the reputation of the FBI.
