This was an immensely revealing testimony. Now we know everything that happened around Trump and in the WH on January 6. There is A LOT. So I'll try to summarize it as briefly as I can. But there was way more than this. We learned that Trump KNEW that the insurrectionists were armed. And his response "They're not here to hurt ME". Which makes it obvious that he knew they were there ready for violence. And, knowing that, he STILL sent them to assault the Capitol. Not only that, he ordered them to take down the magnetometers set up by the Secret Service, and which had confiscated some of the armament. We learned about the physical altercation with the person driving the car, because Trump wanted to go to the Capitol, despite the fact that it was impossible for the Secret Service to do their job. Which only proves that Trump has the mental capacity of a 5 year old. Once in the WH, we know how Trump REFUSED to do anything to stop the insurrection. Not until he started to receive notice that they were considering invoking the 25th amendment did he put out a lukewarm statement telling the insurrectionist to go home, and that he "loved" them. In the final section we saw the words of several of the witnesses themselves who tell about how Trump has manipulated them to not cooperate with the committee. Now, most of what we heard were 2nd hand accounts. BUT, this is very significant because it will motivate others to come forward. Starting with Pat Cipollone, who now has nothing to hide. He actually came out looking pretty good. And Mark Meadows, who will have no choice but to come in and explain what he did to persuade Trump to stop the insurrection. Because, if he doesn't, I think he will surely be indicted.
