For the record, I'll be voting for Scott Walker while you obediently pull a lever for a crony socialist One Percenter. :)

I completely agree. The goal was to demonize the TEA Party and tell a ton of lies about the movement.

If Moderates / Liberals actually took an honest look without all the DailyKos, MediaMatter filter, they would see the group has a lot in common with want they want too. But, don't ask a Liberal to actually go to a TEA Party meeting and learn it first hand.

    Common:

    Anti-Crony Capitalist +
    Business Subsidy Cuts +
Tax Cuts for Businesses Removed +
    Defense Spending Cuts +
    Anti-Citizens United +

    Neutral

No position on Abortion, Gay Rights, etc...

    Con

Reshaping of Social Programs to be in line with budget

There is so much attributed to the TEA Party that is simply not true it's amazing to witness as a member. Liberals should have been pounding on the door to add their influence to the movement. They would still be accepted today.

That's not a very good bet. Yosh is worth at least a Captain Gorn, Grizz, cpicturetaker, and a Liberal to be named later.

Yosh for Gorn is like betting a Mercedes for a tricycle.

The problem with this post is that you make fun of the one conservative news station, Fox News, that may or may not jump on board with Jeb.

Yet you ignore MSNBC, NBC, ABC, and CNN who love Hillary Clinton.

    Hypocrisy

Yes, yes...that durn "Lib'rul Media".......except they also like Bernie Sanders, too. And watch Ed Schultz sometime as he tears into Hillary over TPP.

My point on Fox isn't that they are "rightwing"...it's that Fox is "Republican"...as in, during election years, the pet of the RNC and will do whatever Reince Priebus and the RNC want....

in this case? The RNC wants Jeb to be the Nominee....and Fox will assure that. Watch the change in "tone" about Jeb you'll see from Greg Gutfeld, O'Reilly, Hannity, Greta, Eric Bolling, Neil Cavuto, etc. by the end of this Summer.

    Judge for yourself.

Just so we're clear, are you claiming MSNBC, NBC, ABC, and CNN are not liberally biased?

I may take CNN off that list. They can lean left, but they can also do a good job staying center.

I agree MSNBC is liberally biased....of course. It's in their slogan.

Are you admitting that Fox is biased towards conservatism or the Republican Party, despite their slogan of "Fair & Balanced"?

Of course I think Fox is biased. I would not argue it's not biased. I just think that complaining about the ONE popular conservative news channel is hypocritical, because there are more than one liberally-biased networks on cable television.

Again, my argument wasn't that Fox is "conservative"...it's that, come election time, Fox is "REPUBLICAN" and follows the lead of the GOP Leadership, RNC, "Establishment", etc. in helping to choose the Nominee the Leadership wants.

Again, you watch for yourself this Fall. Watch how Megyn, O'Loofah Bill, Hannity, Greta, Gutfeld, Guilfoyle, Cavuto, etc.....

all start praising Jeb. Maybe not attacking the Others...but definitely start to woo the "I'll never vote for that RINO amnesty-lover Jeb" types in their audience...

to a more favorable view of Jeb.

Don't trust me.....verify for yourself, as The Gipper said.

Funny how conservatives get behind a guy and when he gets blown out of the water "he just wasn't conservative enough".

That's their usual CYA to soothe their egos after a Republican loses a Presidential election.

Phase 1- Hate the guy as a "RINO" claim you'll "never vote for him".

Phase 2- He gets aheads in the polls....claim "He's not going to win the Nomination due to being a RINO".

Phase 3- He begins to win Primaries....drop attacks, focus on Democratic opponent.

Phase 4- Candidate wins Nomination....claim "He won me over during the Primaries. I support him now."

Phase 5- Fall General Election campaign.....support, defend, praise the Candidate as the greatest guy since Reagan.

Phase 6- GOP Candidate loses. Claim voter fraud for a while.

Phase 7- Switch to "He lost because he was a RINO....I told you that the whole time" and when asked "Did you vote for _____?" ....bob, dodge, deflect, or say "Well, I didn't vote for the Democrat!"...

or LIE and claim you didn't vote or voted 3rd Party.

    Rinse, lather, repeat...every 4 years. :)

I'm proud of Jeb. It's not every Bush who'd have the balls to show his face around this country again.

    - the candidate formerly known as Bush, could well benefit from constant attacks by mega-sniveler, the Trump.

The Formidable Flatulence has scads of money, and in the GOP, that means he's one heckler that is accorded VIP treatment, and a reserved place on stage!

Netherwind, in his rambling, self-indulgent campaign announcement speech, assailed !'s intelligence, asking the crowd: "How the hell can you vote for this guy?"

On CNN he trashed !'s policies as "weak" and a "total disaster."

Then there was Noisome Vapour's using !'s wife to attack him: "#JebBush has to like the Mexican Illegals because of his wife!" (It follows that CrassGas, as a serial polygamist, has to like everyone.)

... as well as his hapless brother, the Dub, Trump's noting that his Iraq fiasco was "one of the biggest blunders of George W. Bush's presidency!"

And when it looked as if the flummoxed ! was about to opt for Phone-a-Friend - "It took him five days to answer the question on Iraq. He couldn't answer the question! I said, 'Is he intelligent?"

If ! is brighter than he looks, he'll cede his debate time to Butt Bugle.

    .
"Another thing! Your name is BUSH!
    - Show me the birth certificate!"
    ...

    Are we having fun! yet?

We've seen it twice (McCain, Romney) from the Right so far....four times if they want to throw in Bush in 1992 and Dole in 1996.

Jeb WILL BE the GOP Nominee next year....so look for Stages 1-5 (we're already into Stages 1-2).

95% of these self-righteous "I'll NEVER vote for that amnesty-lovin' RINO Jeb" types....

will fold like paper dolls by atleast Labor Day 2016 and be comparing him winning and succeeding Obama to "Reagan defeating Carter in 1980."

    Watch for it.

    - - - Updated - - -

The first debate is on August 6th.

Trump will look like a guy in need of SERIOUS anger management psychotherapy....

while Jeb will look rational and sane.

And the Others will be trying to suck up to Trump's fans...and look like wanna-bes.

"Trite" is an adjective. You may want to search for a noun.

Posts concerning Jebby and/or the Trump can be upsetting for those whom the inherent humour inexplicably escapes.

Try to enjoy it. It really is quit amusing.

I'm hoping the antics will continue until the eve of the election when they're again molesting one another via their lurid fantasies of yet another "Romney Landslide!

    That was bloody marvelous!

When it comes to Fox News Channel, conservatives don’t feel the need to “work the ref.” The ref is already on their side. Since its 1996 launch, Fox has become a central hub of the conservative movement’s well-oiled media machine. Together with the GOP organization and its satellite think tanks and advocacy groups, this network of fiercely partisan outlets–such as the Washington Times, the Wall Street Journal editorial page and conservative talk-radio shows like Rush Limbaugh’s–forms a highly effective right-wing echo chamber where GOP-friendly news stories can be promoted, repeated and amplified. Fox knows how to play this game better than anyone.

None of the Rightwing pundits will use "landslide" again....Dick Morris ruined that for them.

But, in fairness to Morris.....LIMBAUGH also used the word "landslide"....it's just that Dick got scape-goated by Fox News and the Right for being the most public one to say "Romney Landslide".

In 2016, they'll find some other way to say it, like "It's going to be an overwhelming victory for Jeb over Hillary!".....

or "Jeb's going to have a massive victory over Clinton."
