Did the quote mention the whys and wherefores? No. Did I? No.
So, I have absolutely no idea why you're presenting the "real reasons" when no one mentioned them at all.

Joe Biden panders to all groups.
    1. Man, If you don't vote for me your not black.. Facts: Praised Robert Byrd, a former KKK leader as a “mentor." Lauded segregationist George Wallace “someone who’s not afraid to stand up and offend people, someone who wouldn’t pander but would say what the American people know in their gut is right.”
As a Senator he along with other segregationist Democrats like Eastman and Thurmond fought federally mandated desegregation of schools using busing. "“Unless we do something about this, my children are going to grow up in a jungle, the jungle being a racial jungle with tensions having built so high that it is going to explode at some point. We have got to make some move on this.” Referring to Barack Obama “You got the first mainstream African American who is articulate and bright and clean and a nice-looking guy. I mean, that’s a storybook, man.”

    2. At the 40th anniversary of the Legal Services Corporation.
“That’s one of the things that he finds was most in need when he was over there in Iraq for a year,” That people would come to him and talk about what was happening to them at home in terms of foreclosures, in terms of bad loans that were being … I mean these Shylocks who took advantage of, um, these women and men while overseas.” Here he is pandering to one group but offending another. Shylock is a well known term for Jew.

    3. Pandering to the Asian & Latino Coalition,“We should challenge students in these schools. We have this notion that somehow if you’re poor, you cannot do it. Poor kids are just as bright and just as talented as white kids. Wealthy kids, black kids, Asian kids — no I really mean it, but think how we think about it.” We know how Joe thinks about it. Poor kids arn't as smart as white kids"

    4. Pandering to the Indian-American. “I’ve had a great relationship. In Delaware, the largest growth in population is Indian-Americans moving from India. You cannot go to a 7-Eleven or a Dunkin’ Donuts unless you have a slight Indian accent. I’m not joking,” Gees Joe if you would have spent a night in a motel instead of a bus you more than likely could have met the Patel Cartel who could have shown you how they have taken over the motel business and gift shops in America.

    5. Not sure how Joe is doing with the Oriental's. Biden said "Trump is wrong to hold China accountable for the COVID-19 because Americans aren’t able to distinguish “between a South Korean and someone from Beijing.” Do we really have to Joe? Guess Joe isn't ready for prime time if he cannot heed the words of MLK. “I have a dream that my four little children will one day live in a nation where they will not be judged by the color of their skin, but by the content of their character.”

I hope you don't think you're the first one to post all this - soon as it gets churned up from the bowels of the barrel that the Trump War Room's busy scraping out, it's all over the place. Read through this thread start to finish for dissenting opinions, because it gets really tedious responding to mass regurgitations.

What its says loud and clear, however, is that Trump's well aware he's failing with minorities AND vulnerable to attack on this front. So, strategy is to hope to carve off some share of the minority vote AND deter Biden from attacking him on this same issue, thinking he'll be afraid of the blow back.

Well wishful thinking never hurt they say, but this is such a transparent ploy it's more likely to harm.

Oh, and while you're in reading mode, check out the polling cross tabs - quite clearly Biden's top pick among minorities. Has been for yonks. Or let me guess, you won't bother, because all the polls are fake.

I'll never understand why Byrd's critics are so offended that he left the KKK and turned his life around. It's bonkers.

Because the only reason he was "forgiven" is he was a democrat. Republicans who do nothing wrong are branded racists for life. That's what you don't understand.

He was "forgiven" because he turned his ****ing life around. THAT'S what you don't understand. Why are you offended that he left the KKK?

If we didn't post the crap that Biden has said it would be ignored. When it comes to being racist Biden has it hands down over Trump. Picking Harris had to be a pact with the devil. (The communist/ socialist one) There were many better black candidates he could have picked but Joes a panderer. If Trump loses it is because Trump was not the choice of the people and he only has himself to blame. Same goes for Biden. I'm not voting the person this election but the platform.

Did the GOP finally come up with a platform? Last I checked they skipped this year and just said their "platform" was Trump worship.

It would be a relief if neither party had a platform. I'll take Trump/Pence rebuild America over Biden/Harris give away America program.

The platform, shared first with POLITICO, is the latest move from progressives as they prepare to wrangle with moderate Democrats over the scale of new government spending and programs if the party wins control of Washington. It’s part of a different strategy for progressives this year than in the 2016 election: putting more organizational muscle behind Biden than they put into backing Hillary Clinton’s campaign, but also vowing to turn around and place immediate pressure on Biden to stand with them on key issues if he is elected.

Eight members of Congress, including prominent progressive Reps. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez, Ilhan Omar, Ayanna Pressley and Rashida Tlaib, are backing the program. A handful of likely incoming House freshmen, along with the Service Employees International Union, Electoral Justice Project of the Movement for Black Lives and climate advocacy group Sunrise Movement, are also on board.

Known as the Working Families Party’s “People’s Charter,” the 1,000-word proposal calls for universal free health care, a jobs program employing 16 million people, retroactive hazard pay for essential employees and the reallocation of resources from policing toward education and other services. It also promotes giving the public an ownership stake in firms that receive bailouts, as well as buying out gas and oil companies, among other policies.

First you said you were voting on platform. Then, when confronted by the fact that the people you are voting for don't actually have a platform, you change your story and say that you hate platforms. Cute

I didn't say I hate platforms. I said it would be a relief if neither party had a platform. Which means Less Government the better.

First you said you vote based on platforms. Now you say you don't like platforms. Which is it? And you can be for less government or you can be a Trump supporter. Can't be both.
