You've misunderstood. By "illegal CRIMINAL immigration" I'm talking about people who are criminals PRIOR to entering the US illegally. Rapists, murderers and thieves etc. These people are either wanting to find honest work in the US or want to be in the US for criminal opportunity. I am making a distinction between them and the GOOD, hard working family folk who just want a better life and provide financial support for their families and these people I am generally sympathetic with. Now, how do you stop the criminals from crossing the border?

OBama policy only separated children when the health and well being of the child was in danger. This is a common law that has been in the books for decades in the US that MANDATES the separation of children and their referral to child welfare, not incarceration in converted detention centers. This is totally different. Trump uses the misdemeanor activity as a reason for separation.

The number of separations by OBama was minuscule as his primary interest was deportation of illegals who where known FELONS and those who engpdanger the children they accompanied.

Sure. After all, we know that because Trump is single handedly smarter then our military, every university in the world and every major corporation. Trump can read the minds of women and all Iranians and knows that Putin and No. Korea are our true friends. He knows everything about the Iranian deal, more then all our closest allies.
