"Joe Biggs — the “tip of the spear” of the Proud Boys assault on Capitol on Jan. 6 — has been sentenced to 17 years in federal prison for his role in the seditious conspiracy to block the peaceful transfer of power to President Joe Biden following the 2020 election."

All I can say is: Good.
Demonstrate all you want. Yell and scream. No problem.

Break into the Capitol and go to jail for a long time.
Break in when congress is in session, go away even longer.
Break in at the bidding of a president who lost the election to stop the peaceful transfer of power and go away for as long as can be arranged.

So when does Trump get sentenced for the conspiracy you are claiming he was part of? And I missed the bidding part can you give me the exact bidding phrase and when he said it or was it in some secret meeting he was at?

Yeah. Good point. The Orange Polyp had nothing to do with any of it.

All in good time. Due process must play out. We'll see what the Orange Stain get convicted for and then we'll know the sentences.

I refer you to a text of his speech on 1/6 and any private communications he and/or his office staff had with the participants.

Well where exactly is Smith on the sedition prosecution he WAS indicted for it wasn't he if he is going to get sentenced for it.

So you think he is going to get convicted on a sedition charge? Can you point me to that charge in the indictment?

No YOU give me the EXACT words when he did this bidding for violence at the Capitol and those communications between his staff and participants I'm sure they must have been played in court for the jury against Biggs.

The riot at the Capitol? Did you listen to John Eastman on Laura Ingraham's show last night. He confirmed EXACTLY what I have been saying here for two years, it is preposterous to think Trump had anything to do with because it SPECIFICALLY went against and prevented their plan to challenge the election during the vote counting. It was the LAST thing they expected, they had been assured the Capitol was fully prepared for the crowds and any problems, or needed to happened.

Bluesguy seems to think that Trump not being charged with seditious conspiracy means that he didn’t take part in one and that unless people on an Internet forum can provide all of Jack Smith’s evidence immediately and prove otherwise to him and his already made up mind he’s truly innocent.

Willis has the more complete indictment.

Little guys get sedition charges, but the guy behind it all gets the conspiracy charge.

@Bluesguy 's syntax/grammar is horrific, check out this line:

Well where exactly is Smith on the sedition prosecution he WAS indicted for it wasn't he if he is going to get sentenced for it.

    My gawd, that is awful.

    So! It was an insurrection.
"Joe Biggs — the “tip of the spear” of the Proud Boys assault on Capitol on Jan. 6 — has been sentenced to 17 years in federal prison for his role in the seditious conspiracy ..."

"the charge of seditious conspiracy includes two elements: conspiracy and sedition. Conspiracy is an agreement by two or more people to commit a crime. Sedition is defined as incitement or advocacy of
    insurrection against an established authority.

Trump was so alarmed by the attack on the Capitol, in fact, that he watched TV for 3 hours.

Trump isn't being charged with sedition. He's being charged with a RICO conspiracy to overturn the election. The insurrection was the result of Trump's incitement of his base by telling them for months that 'Democrats stole the election' and the juggernaut of rage was the result, but that was off the cuff and not planned.

However, Trump IS responsible for the insurrection, on that, there is no question.

CNN reports: A leader of the Proud Boys who led the far-right organization’s infamous march to the US Capitol on January 6, 2021, has been sentenced to 17 years in prison – among the longest sentences handed down yet for a convicted rioter.

Rioter. Not sedition! Because there was no sedition. Which is why the charges against Trump could fail. They were riots.

Of course, the liberal riots that killed people and cost billions of dollars in property damages ended with the rioters not being charged after being bailed out of jail by Democrats.

Demonstrates how stupid our nation really is.
