    If the messenger broke the law in the transmission of the message? Absolutely. Send in the frickin' firing squad.

    I don't know if the knowing and willful retransmission of information obtained illegally is, itself, illegal. But if it is then the messenger should hang from the gallows and / or be fed to the lions.

    Again, you don't get to ignore the law when it happens to result in some form of comeuppance for people you don't like.

    Kind of convenient the statute of limitations ran out on the molester. I wonder if Jim Bob and the rest of the cult planned it that way.

    No. Freedom of the press. As well as the fact that they took no part in the original crime of hacking the site.

    He would have no case against gawker or any other news site that ran the story.

    If "Christians" would just follow that last sentence, things would be a lot better.

    And there is no "War on Christianity", but there might be a war on hypocrisy.
