I showed you 9 Democrats who work for Fox.
Do you have any Republicans that work at CNN?

Facebook and Twitter are not oligopolies because anyone can create a social network and enter the market.

As for their supposed monopoly on free speech, you still have the right to come and say what you want on this forum, as long as you respect the rules.

Please explain how FB or Twitter stop you from posting whatever you want on other sites?

Please explain how FB or Twitter stop you from going down to your city hall and saying whatever you wish to say?

In any case, Rivera and Baier are far from considering themselves Democrats.

Besides, it's easily found on the net.

    A little intellectual effort please.

They are and vote Democrat. Your personal opinion of them doesn't change anything.

The point being, Fox hires Democrats for their shows for Democrat opinion. What other media news outlet does that?

So were you going to answer the question?
How many Republicans work at CNN?

Have you ever listened to CNN?

Steve Cortez, Jason Miller and John Kasich were often invited to debates.

Are you suddenly trying to suggests that a state and their legislatures cannot enact new law? Seriously?

The outcome here is that a federal judge in providing the injunctive relief also entirely highlighted the behavior of social media companies is, in fact, not in line with the regulatory protections they enjoy. The judge, in fact, characterized said social media companies as publishers, which violates their protected status as utilities. Ooops....And now that their behavior is characterized that way, the djinn won't be put back in the bottle.

Miles Taylor caught lying to get on CNN.
"You lied to use, Miles. You were asked in August here on CNN if you were Anonymous and you said no," Cuomo told Taylor on Wednesday. "Now, why should CNN keep you on the payroll after lying like that?
He isn't a republican. He was a staffer who wrote an anonymous piece about Trump then lied about it to get a job at CNN.
John Kasich Far from a republican or giving republican views. He actually spoke at the Democrat national convention and is being considered for a Biden cabinet position. And you think CNN or Biden considers him a Republican? He got hired to talk bad about Trump.
Charlie Dent Was an invited guest because he claimed he was voting for Biden. Not employed by CNN
Ana Navarro-Cárdenas A political commentator for CNN, CNN en Español, ABC News, and Telemundo. Not employed by CNN
Amanda Carpenter A former columnist for The Washington Times who appears as a political contributor. Not employed by CNN
Tara Setmayer Used to be a CNN political commentator. Not employed by CNN

Democrats on Fox give democrat views. The only republicans you might find on CNN are ones who will only take trash about republicans.

I didn't realize Fox News had the protections Twitter does, oh wait they don't. What your arguing is apples and oranges and that's the issue with twitter and face book. You want to be a media source fine, lose your your libel protections. Even dems like Elizabeth Warren and Bernie were screaming this but now for some strange reason dems loving some Twitter protections.

NO - that is not why they are not "Oligopolies" as stated in my previous post - similar example given .. "Anyone could create an OIl company"

What part of that example did you not understand ?

Why are you asking me to explain moronic things - things that do not occur - things I never said occurred.

    What is your deal ?

But what you did saw was that FB and Twitter have "a monopoly free speech at the moment ".

If that was accurate you would not be able to do the things I asked about.

Your premise is false - but at least a coherent attempt at justifying your claim / position was made so kudos for that.

So as you tried to do on the basis of my claim - but on basis of false premise. I willl do the same - but on the basis of a valid premise.

    A) You don't understand what an Oligopoly is - or how they work - what constitutes "Anti competitive Practice" - price fixing - collusion and so on.
    B) You have no idea what a fair and free market entails... and Probably think the US is an example of a fair and free market.

My premise is not false. You still have freedom of speech.

No, the US is not an example of fair and free market, far too many rules and regulations for that.

I don't understand how Facebook and Twitter prevent competition from taking hold.

Which is the definition of an oligopoly.

Can you clarify that for me?

And then creating a social network costs a tiny fraction of an oil company.

You don't know what Freedom of Speech entails - you do not know what the issues of a Monopoly-Oligopoly are . and you don't know what fair and free markets entail. and my apologies but you need to listen up - and learn a few things.

You speak in these black vs white paradigms -as if there is nothing in between - and so you contradict yourself one sentence to the next.

"No, the US is not an example of fair and free market, far too many rules and regulations for that"

    A) The US is an example of fair and free markets .. just not a good one - but none are. So WTF are you talking about - "Fairy Tale Land" - That's What .. where life is beautiful all the time .. and I will be happy to see those nice young men in their bright white coats .. if you know the tune.

You have no understanding of what fair and free markets entail - completely obvlivious to the fact that you can not have fair and free markets without at least some regulation .. least not the History of Mankind .. So tell me about this fairy tale land you speak of - tell me how these fair and free markets work.

    B) The reasons we don't like Oligopolies - is because they distort fair and free market principles - the ones you do not know about - and so you don't know anything about the function of an Oligopoly

    C) can't even begin to get into the discussion of the free speech issue - until you understand A) - and B) but you do the same nonsensical black vs white paradigm - having no understanding anthing between "Say what ever you like" or "Speak and get shot" - the Sound of Silence fairy tale land

Car companies are true oligopolies. Internet sites aren't. Too easy to enter the market.

    Interesting post.

You whine about lack of free speech and then use your free speech to make personal attacks against me know there will be no consequences for them.

You attack me for having some "nonsensical black vs white paradigm" while you are the one with the nonsensical black vs white paradigm because everyone either has to agree with you they just do not understand the topic. In your closed little mind it would never occur to you that people can disagree without either of them being right or wrong.

I think I tire of this game for the day, maybe tomorrow I will have more patience for such as you

One of my favorite things on the internet are those are free to say what they want on the internet whining about free speech on the internet. It is startling how many people manage to have free speech without being a part of FB or twitter.

Clearly there was no free speech before the internet.
