Just because his Defense Team didn't use SYG as a defense in court doesn't mean it wasn't his own motivation to use the level of force he did.

I think the problem with SYG, is that theres no need for a knife to be pulled, for you to be able to use lethal force...it's all up to your own personal interpretation of what feeling threatened means.

Here is that "horrible" law. It is pretty well defined.

Zimmerman defended himself from felony assault. Sounds like you don't like that.

Duh.... fame and book deals.... and fear of the hundreds of death threats everyone else is getting.
The media is saying it's not safe to be a juror in America, if your verdict doesn't favor blacks.

If your next question is "why did she vote not guilty?".... the reason is just because she "believes" something... it doesn't make it true.
She voted according to the law, that we thankfully have in place.
Not according to what she thinks happened.

I have no issue with someone defending themselves from a felony assault. I do however take issue with someone walking around armed and creating a situation where they can legally shoot someone.

Well, getting out of our cars in our neighborhood, is not creating a situation, sorry.

How does your insane obsession with the "Zimmy" having no life anymore relate in anyway to the reality of what the poster said.

A verdict goes against what a group of people want, so they send death threats, by the hundreds, to everyone involved....
And you think the problem is the guy who was found innocent of the crime he was tried for.

By all means... keep ignoring the problem with the American blacks involved in death threats, and focus on "Zimmy".

So far walking around armed does not create anything except safety for the armed. Walking around armed does not force other people to commit felonies.

Shocking, huh? Typical though..."feel they are guilty", assume they are guilty. Truth be told, she's probably a racist. GZ was guilty right off the bat because he shot a black kid.

At least she had enough brains to understand the point of evidence and facts.

"Seems to be the prevalent mentality in the Obama administration."

Agreed. On a wide range of issues.

Not. They are fine. You people just keep trying to make mountains out of molehills that don't exist. They do not legitimize vigilantes.

Common sense? BWAHAHAHAHAHA!!! You wouldn't know common sense if it flew up and hit you square in the face.

The justice system is never crap or crumbling when a black person gets off free though, huh?

Racism, that's all you have. It's all you low information voters know.

SYG has nothing to do with stalking, or the case. Stop the infernal lies and blatant intellectual dishonesty.

So now you're Miss Cleo and know what GZ was thinking? Please, do tell. He didn't need SYG at all. He was ATTACKED, and PINNED down while getting his head bashed on the concrete.

I swear, it's apparent some people haven't bothered learning any facts.

Not true. There is some leeway in your interpretation, but afterwards if it's questionable, you'll have to prove in court that you had reasonable fear of your life or great bodily harm.

But hey, aren't the Trayvonites throwing around that TM felt threatened because GZ might be a gay stalker after him? Where have we heard that before? Justified then, but not the other way around huh?

    More intellectual dishonesty.

Problem for the Travonistas is that a made-up story does not trump evidence presented (and accepted because it was not contested) in court.

I didn't find anything new out. We've known since the jury deliberations started that there was a hold out. All we know now is who it was.
